Week 12 Tips

November 28, 2021 by nflinlondon

The wintry winds of December are starting to roll in, as the NFL begins the final push towards the end of the regular season.

The 2021 NFL season has been anything BUT predictable, as some of the top teams continue to falter, while the middle teams still try to find their footing in the season.

Wade and Ryan are back this week, as they offer up their Week 12 tips.

Wade was able to secure a 10-5 record during week 11, while Ryan pulled down a 8-7 record of picks against the spread.

How will the guys do this week?

Ryans Picks

One of the most anticipated games on Sunday will be the heavy hitting Colts (+3) facing the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Jonathan Taylor and company rolled over the Bills last week, and Ryan thinks that TB12 and the guys will be in for a rough day.
Ryan likes the Colts to beat the Bucs by 3.

It was a Giant (+3.5) week in New York, as the g-men got rid of coach Jason Garrett.
Ryan thinks that this will inspire the locker room to play their butts off to cover the 3 point favoured spread of Philly.

It’s an Urban legend that Ryan is a Jags (+2) fan, but this week he likes them to do a number on his former fix the Atlanta Falcons.
He likes the hometown Jacksonville team to keep it tight in a choke out victory for the Jags.

Lastly Ryan is tapping into Big Ben & the Steelers (+4) to find a way to put up some points against a struggling Bengals team.
He likes Pittsburgh to take the W from Cincy in this one, providing a valuable victory to move the Steelers ahead in this division.

If you take Ryan’s picks of the Colts, Giants, Jaguars, and Steelers on a parlay for £10, you could walk away with £154.70.

Wade’s Picks

On a short sunday of games, Wade tries to find some value picks to balance with some straight up easy victories.

Tennessee Titans (+7) took it on the chin, nose and knob last week in a horrible beat down by the Houston Texans.
The Titans face a fierce Patriots squad who rarely make mistakes, and have yet to be really challenged in their latest push.
Wade likes the Titans to cover in a close loss.

The Denver Broncos (+2.5) might not have a lot, but they often seem to win with nothing.
This should be the case on Sunday, as Wade likes them to play tough at home in a game against division rivals the LA Chargers.

Minnesota (+3) might be a rival of the Bears, but that doesn’t mean Wade doesn’t fancy them to do some damage to the 49ers.
The Vikings are a wrecking crew in the league at this point. Unlikely to make the playoffs, but very likely to cause damage to contenders in their push to the playoffs.

The LA Rams (-1) have been assembling all the tools in their shed to build a winning formula for this season, sadly it hasn’t really worked out that way yet.
The Rams will have a chance to take advantage of an injured Aaron Rodgers, and weakened Packers team.
LA has a chance to start out strong, then put their foot down in this one.

Taking Wade’s picks of the Titans, Broncos, Vikings and Rams on a £10 bet will also win you a whopping £154.70.

Turkey Hangover

November 27, 2021 by nflinlondon

The gobble gobble is done for 2021, as the Thanksgiving slate of games are now leftovers, as we look ahead to week 12 in the NFL.

Wade McElwain and Ryan Cull are back with another exciting NFL preview podcast, as the boys digest their Turkey Hangover in this Week 12 preview.

Make sure you listen, laugh and love this new podcast episode.

NFLinLondon · Turkey Hangover-Week 12-Ep 173

Turkey Bowls

The Bears look aging and toothless as they fought off an equally inept Detroit Lions squad to get the first Thursday W.
This game was ugly on all fronts, as the only big winner of the night were penalties.
Matt Nagy holds onto his seat for another week.

‘Dem Boyz were lassoed by the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday, in a frustrating game for Dak and the home fans.
This OT thriller was not only a big win for the Raiders, but also the highest watched Thanksgiving NFL game in history.

Ryan was thrilled as his Bills made short work of a depleted New Orleans Saints team on Thursday night.
Buffalo were able to show the AFC who still could be boss, in a game where they lost one of their biggest D pieces for the season.

-3 Bucs (7-3) vs Colts (6-5)  +53

Everyone is in love with the Colts again after Jonathan Taylor boot stomped the Bills last week in an easy victory.
Given this massive performance, all the pundits are pushing Indy on Sunday to give Tampa a tough game.

Let’s not forget it’s TB12. He is a fear factor in every game, and moving ahead to the playoffs, the Bucs only look to get stronger.
Tommy and Bruce will look to make statement here, looking to shut down Taylor, and bury the Colts in points, so they’ll be forced to make throws.

Wade likes the Bucs here to make short work of the Colts, and show Indy for what they really are…a team lacking depth.

Ryan on the other hand is sniffing the Wentz, picking them to give Brady and the boys a tough contest en route to victory.

Ryan- Colts 33 Bucs 30
Wade- Bucs 30 Colts 23

-2 Falcons (4-6) vs Jags (2-8)

Matty Ice and the birds are coming off a TNF beat down at the hands of Bill Belichick and the Patriots, and will be looking to add a much needed win over this sad Jags squad.

Will Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville team be able to respond to keep this game close?

Ryan thinks that the Jaguars at home will be too much for this Atlanta team, especially since he has been clean from betting on Falcons teams for 3 weeks now.
He likes the Jags to upset the flow of Matt Ryan, and reward Urban Meyer with a home W.

Wade on the other hand thinks that Atlanta is too much for this putrid Jacksonville team.
While both teams have really bad D’s, the Falcons have a marginally better one.

Ryan- Jags 23 Falcons 20
Wade- Falcons 24 Jags 21

Steelers (5-4-1) vs -4 Bengals (6-4)  +45

Big bloated Ben struggled against the mighty Chargers last week, despite gooning for four fourth quarter touchdowns in a loss.
The Steelers D is finally getting some healthy bodies back this week, as TJ Watt looks to rejoin the Pittsburgh fold.

Cincy has struggled and Joe Burrow looks a former shell of himself from last season.
The Bengals have taken some bad losses, and Burrow showed weak form in some games, but should look to rebound in this divisional contest.

Ryan likes the heroics of Big Ben to lead the charge here, in a big win for Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Wade thinks this is a get right game for Cincinnati, and Mixon and the boys should have an easy victory against Pittsburgh.

Ryan- Steelers 30 Bengals 26
Wade- Bengals 27 Steelers 18

Week 11 Thoughts

November 23, 2021 by nflinlondon

Another wicked and wild weekend of football has just passed, and this could be the strangest, coolest NFL season yet.

What the heck happened in week 11? What does this mean for the rest of the season? Can I finally play Ryan Fitzpatrick?
All of these and more in our Week 11 Thoughts.

It was a good week for Wade, who went 11-4 in his Week 11 picks.
Ryan still found some gold, but was only able to go 7-8 on the week.
Bears and Bills both lost, which helps you figure out where the guys went wrong.

Jonathan!

Jonathan Taylor has emerged as the true beast of the NFL running backs, after having another massive display.
Taylor smoked through the Bills defence with ease, making Buffalo look like a bunch of Sunday chumps.
Wentz continues to make bonehead plays, but with Taylor leading the charge, the Colts look playoff bound.

Houston Problems

Ryan Tannehill got whacked by a Texas sized problem on Sunday, as the Texans thoroughly choked out the top tier Tennessee Titans.
It was like watching one of those UFC stars stroll into a local bar, talk some trash, then get taken down by a local high school wrestler.
It was a bad beatdown.

The Titans struggled to impress by being a definitive AFC leader, losing to the worst team in the division only goes to show how out of whack the whole AFC is.

Chief Concerns

The Kansas City Chiefs continued to play the ‘we’re not dead’ tune again this week, as they were able to eek out a win against a stuttered Dak and company.

The Chiefs were once again led by their D, who play like every down depends on it, in a tough W over a tepid Cowboys team.

The world once again is heralding KC to return to the Super Bowl fold, forgetting just how trash-tastic they were in the first weeks of the season.

Super Scam

Cam Newton is back for short yardage plays in Carolina, as the Panthers just couldn’t usurp their nemesis Ron Rivera.

Having already beat cancer, Rivera wasn’t phased facing his former malignance in a defensive match up for the week.

Cam Newton has oodles of energy, but he still can’t hit the deep ball, which is going to affect their chances of going deep this season.

Fire Nagy

No subtext here, time to fire Nagy.

The Bears and Andy Dalton held a lead against Huntley and the Ravens on Sunday, only to get beat by a late time, garbage ball to allow them to score.

Chicago’s defence was horrible, and Andy Dalton was left in the lurch by the team.

At least the Eagles can show everyone how to win when you’re in your rebuilding years.

Totally Baked

Baker Mayfield seems like a shadow of his former self, as he struggled again on Sunday, this time against the Detroit Lions.

Despite being propped by being 13 point faves, the Browns were a total stinker against a Detroit team missing their starting QB.

It seems that the golden years of the Browns are over before the patina even showed signs of appearing.

Cleveland’s only hope next year is to trade for Aaron Rodgers.

Carr Crackers

Las Vegas is hurting this year after being ‘Gruden’d’, then grinded by injuries and accusations, as the Raiders season was over before it even began.

Like the Browns, the Raiders are at that point where they need to decide if the QB really fits.

Vegas might need to start looking ahead next year, trading Carr away to salvage the rest of the team. Is Carr the guy you want for the long haul?

Eagle-Eyed

The Eagles are playing some great football, with a multi-headed running attack, and a whip smart attack by the fleet footed Jalen Hurts.

Philadelphia is easily showing everyone how to be a good team during your rebuilding years.

Philly has 3 FIRST ROUND picks in the 2022 draft.

Look out NFC East!

Week 10 Memes

November 17, 2021 by nflinlondon

Another wild and wacky week in the NFL, as winners turned to losers, losers continued to lose, and the Lions finally got a tie.
Hopefully Dan Patrick won’t have a coronary now that the pressure is kind of a smidge.

To honour the football that just happened over the past 72 hours, we give you Week 10 Memes.

Tom Brady look a loss to the balls on Sunday, after coming off a refreshing bye. The Washington Football Club might not have any naughty emails from TB12, but they have his number.

Here are some hilarious memes that sum up the week and thoughts from week 10.

Week 10 Tips

November 14, 2021 by nflinlondon

Week 10 is here in the NFL, and what the heck do we know?
Really?

The Chiefs were supposed to be a dynamic team for 2021, and they have only gone off like a wet firework.
Mahomes and company make every Sunday look like their performing dentistry through the rectum, unpleasant and awkward.

The AFC in general is a bit of a wet fart, as it covers everything, and no one really knows who dealt it.
Are the Titans the real contenders, or is the Bills?
Will the real AFC contender please stand up?

Despite the wild week of games, Wade was able to correctly predict some of the turd outcomes including a Denver upset of America’s team.
How will he do this week?

The boys sort of proudly present their Week 10 tips, who knows really.

Ryan had said a few weeks ago that he would never bet on the Atlanta Falcons again, but guess who’s back in an abusive relationship?
Ryan looks to heal old wounds in week 10, as he revisits picks of the past, and see if he can find an understanding.

Ryans Picks

Shuffling off to Buffalo (-13), Ryan is hot on his team to lay a beating on the Mike White led New York Jets.
While he loves his Bills, he doesn’t love their stagnant starts, and while he thinks Buffalo will win, he has the Jets (+13) to cover.

Falcons (+9.5)  fans rejoice, Ryan is back into the fold, and he has a wild prediction in week 10…a Falcons win!
That’s right Atlanta, Ryan has predicted a Falcons upset on Sunday, as he thinks that they will beat the Dallas Cowboys at home.

Tennessee (-3) might have lost King Henry for a few weeks, but that doesn’t stop Ryan from believing in them to do the dirty on the Saints on Sunday.
He likes the other Ryan (Tannehill) to lead the south to victory over…the south in a bit of a blowout.

Denver (-3) laid a mile high concussion on the Cowboys on Sunday, and Ryan likes them to win another game against the struggling Eagles. He likes Teddy and the boyz to make the day tough for Jalen Hurts.

A £10 bet using Ryan’s picks of Jets, Falcons, Titans and Broncos would win you £160.00

Wade’s Picks

Wade has gone the upset route for Week 10, given how many wild upsets happened during week 9.

Cleveland (+3) has had a heck of a week with all the OBJ’ing to and fro, all while Baker tries to get better. The Patriots might be on a tear, but slow and steady doesn’t win every race. He likes the Browns to win.

Big Ben is out, which brings in the unsteady Mason Rudolph to lead the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jared Goff and the Lions (+7) are 0-8, which means he needs something to happen to save his job. Will this be the week they win? Maybe, but they should keep it closer than 9.

The Vikings (+2.5) are a steaming pile of hot mess this season, and every one of their games except for one has been decided in the final 60 seconds of the game.
Facing the Chargers this week, the same thing might just happen.
Wade thinks that Minnesota will keep this game close (& high scoring).

The Raiders (+2.5) have had a gut punch of a month, losing pretty much all of their draft picks for 2020 in the process.
Derek Carr is angry, and ready to rally against a depleted Chiefs squad.
This one could be big and angry, but the Raiders should prevail.

If you want to use Wade’s picks of Browns, Lions, Vikings and Raiders, a £10 bet will yield you a whopping payout of £159.70.

If you want to hear all of the guys picks, just listen to the podcast where the guys break down all of their tips and picks.
