Wade’s Week 10 Parlays

November 10, 2019 by nflinlondon

Parlay-alay! It’s time to make some money in Week 10 of the NFL!
I’ve put together my top parlay list for Week 10 in the NFL so that you can make some money.

The one above is a great little earner.
The Browns to upset the Bills at home, the Cardinals to beat the spread in a high scoring Bucs game, Steelers D to win again, and the Chiefs to Mahomes away the Titans.

Here are some of my picks

Bills @ Browns (-2.5)

The Browns deserve to win here. They are feeling low, and a home win is what Mayfield needs to charge up the engines. The Bills are cruising at 6-2, and so they might want to experiment with this offence of theirs to gear up for a playoff run.
BROWNS WIN 24-20

Cardinals @ Bucs (-4.5)

Will Jameis be able to hold onto the ball & throw for 300 yards? Maybe. But the Cards are playing renegade football these days & Murray can run. This will be a big points game, but the Bucs turnover the ball too much & tank in the 4th.
CARDINALS WIN 27-23

Rams (-3.5) @ Steelers

The Steelers are like a broken toy that seems to be putting itself together. They are not entirely out in this division, and their D is holding them in some of these games. Injuries have been smarting, but so has the Rams O line. Goff hates being chased & often makes mistakes. He will be chased & picked in this one.
STEELERS WIN 28-26

Chiefs (-6) @ Titans

Mahomes is back! Hide your end zones! Patty is looking to bitch slap this Titans D & if they can get their running game pumping, they can surely start cooking to the finish line. Their D is solid, and that spells trouble for Ryan & his O line. Tannehill is going to be looking for a hill, because there will be nothing in front of him.
CHIEFS WIN 33-20

Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich

November 8, 2019 by nflinlondon

Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich is one of the hottest things in America right now.
Some might say that it’s hotter than Tom Brady.
Might say that, not for sure.

It was only a few weeks ago that Day Prescott was in the huddle, extolling the virtues of Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets, so we know that NFL players are chicken obsessed.
https://www.12up.com/posts/video-dak-prescott-talking-about-wendy-s-spicy-nuggets-in-cowboys-huddle-is-hilarious-01dnjhjjsj42

So people will do ANYTHING to get their hands on these greasy, bird burgers.
How far does anything go?

Well take a look at this video and watch as this lady totals the side of her Mercedes trying to sneak into the drive thru.
Karma is certainly a bitch, and it looks like this lady might be as well.
What the heck was she thinking?
You can see her trying to angle her car in front of another car that was RIGHTFULLY in the drive-thru line.
She then proceeds to scrape her car against the metal bollard as she tries in vain once again to get to the line to get a chicken sandwich.

The best is the girl casually eating her sandwich while watching in silence as this moron destroys her car.
I wonder what she says to her partner when she gets home?
‘I was side-swiped, and they drove away!’
Uh huh.
Until he goes on YouTube.

Ryan’s Midseason Awards

November 7, 2019 by nflinlondon

Ryan Cull is a comedian, writer, husband & Buffalo Bills fan.
All of these things are hard to be
Here are his nominations for the half-way awards.
An awards season for being almost there.

NFL in London Mid Season Awards

MVP – Christian McCaffrey

No one has dominated the NFL and fantasy like Christian McCaffrey. When you see him line up against you during a matchup you might as well go to IKEA because there’s no point watching football this week. With over 800 yards, 10 TD’s and 40 rec he’s on his way to a LaDanian Tomlinson type season. There hasn’t been a white running back producing like this since John Riggins. If he can do it then maybe one day, a white guy can win the 100m in the Olympics.

LVP – Baker Mayfield

The one good thing about living in the UK is that I wasn’t forced to sit through Baker Mayfield commercials all off-season. They are just as awful as the Go Compere Guy I bet. Freddie Kitchens aside, Baker has been a turnover machine, quick tempered with the media, and not getting the ball to Odell. And we all know that a productive Odell is a happy Odell. If Baker doesn’t pick it up in the second half there’s going to be more drama in Cleveland then a Logan Roy Family Thanksgiving.

Rookie of the Year – Josh Jacobs

Member the Daniel Jones hype! I member! That was a fun time, when he was the second coming of Brady and the sure fire ROY. Now having regressed almost weekly, he has opened the door for the most consistent rookie Josh Jacobs. Now 7th in the NFL in rushing with 6 TDS, Josh Jacobs makes Jon Gruden look like a genius, and he needs it after the Clelin Ferrell pick which is looking like a disaster. Jacobs has kept the Raiders relevant in a season where everyone expected them to fall on their face. After the AB debacle and keeping the Raiders at 4-4, maybe Gruden hasn’t lost it!

Fantasy Player of the Year – Lamar Jackson

We will witness another shift in fantasy football next year and it will involve whether you draft Lamar Jackson number 1 overall. It’s now an official debate. A QB who can also run for 1,000 yards is like having a RB who throws 20 TDs. (Now that’s the future of the NFL!) Either way, we should all enjoy Lamar while we can because that reckless playing has never worked long term. But then again, we say Brady can’t keep doing it and look at him! Look at your master and bow down to him!……shit, sorry that was weird. The computer started typing on its own. Let’s move on.

Other Awards

Best Moustache (Or known as the Canadian Mullet) – Gardner Minshew

First Coach Fired Award – Dan Quinn – sorry Mr. Clean, it’s time to get your stain off the Falcons

Biggest Disappointment – The AFC – Get it together guys, it’s embarrassing out there. You are like the East in the NBA. Unwatchable.

Take on Ryan in the $100,000 DraftKings contest.

Redzone

November 7, 2019 by nflinlondon

What goes on with Scott Hanson?
How is he able to be so zippy fresh each week as he presents NFL Redzone?

Well we pull back the green screen and give you a backstage pass to everyone’s favourite Sunday program.
NFL Films has produced a video that shows exactly what happens every Sunday with Scott Hanson and the Redzone crew.

Did you know that he has NEVER taken a bathroom break on air so far?
What a feat for a champ of a host.

The great thing about Scott is that not only is he amazing at what he does, but he genuinely has a great time doing it.
Who else would be able to do this job?

NFL Redzone first launched in 2009, which means we are now celebrating the 10th anniversary of Scott and co.
Way to go Redzone!
Keep up the good work!

Memes. They convey what everyone is thinking, but in a more visual way, written by someone more clever than you.
The art of the meme is something that needs to be taught at uni…heck maybe it already is.

We have compiled some of the best memes from week 9 in the NFL for you to enjoy.
Like creating your own memes?
Send them to us, and if they’re funny-maybe we will use them.
We are always on the look-out for good writers, so please get in touch if you have some love to share.
