Yeah, you can buy that Chinese-made Tom Brady jersey, just don’t wash it or get it in the sun.
You want an NFL jersey or an anti-vax’d kid?
Exactly.
A quality jersey that has lasted as long as Brady’s career.

Everyone needs a ‘second team.’
Just be careful when you play it, or otherwise people will know you as the Jags-bandwagoner, and you just can’t go back from it.

Week 5 Picks

October 5, 2019 by nflinlondon

Our pundit Wade punches his picks for betting in week 5 of the NFL.

Steelers
They’re at home with 1 win under a rusty belt, if they can shake the ketchup bottle to make a win against the struggling Ravens, then they really are in trouble. Look for a solid performance from the D, and a mix up of Steelers running game.

Giants
At home-again. This time versus the Vikings who are also struggling, but mostly internally.
Golden Tate is back, so that will open up the field. Giants won’t win, but 5 points is not the 3 they will probably lose to.

Packers
Hate ’em. But they are ready, & the Cowboys haven’t faced an angry Aaron Rodgers yet. Is he injured? Let’s see, but the Packers should shock the Cowboys with a win.

Ep 65-Week 4 Preview

September 28, 2019 by nflinlondon

Week 4 in the NFL is already afoot, and we are starting to get nervous that the season will end soon…and the Patriots win again.
Is this like a Groundhog Day kind of thing with them?

Wade & Ryan sit down with a few sody-pops to chat about all of the games for week 4 in the league.

They look at some of the big games this weekend, and if you feel like watching-when not join us at Belushi’s Hammersmith for all of the big games.

Chargers (1-2) (-15.5) vs Dolphins (0-3) +44
The dolphins are dead. Like living in the Dead Sea dead.
Is there any point in teams trying against them?
Are they purposely tanking the season?
Will they go in 0-16?
Probably.

Raiders (1-2) vs Colts (2-1) (-7) +45
The Colts have been hobbled by gopher holes of injuries this season, so they will need all the cowhands on deck for this match-up against the lowly Oakland Raiders. Derek Carr looks like this is his final season with the legion of doop.

Titans (1-2) vs Falcons (1-2) (-4) +45.5
The Falcons have a loose O-line. While that sounds very ‘street’ and a good thing, it definitely isn’t. Can they even protect Matt Ryan anymore?
Ryan thinks that the Falcons can win this one, where Wade thinks this will turn into the Derick Henry show on the ground.

Join us this Sunday at Belushi’s Hammersmith to watch the games!
See you Sunday!

TNF-Eagles vs Packers

September 27, 2019 by nflinlondon

The Eagles steamed into Lambeau Field on Thursday to face the 3-0 Green Bay Packers.
With a beat up squad, limping WRs, one wondered if Carson Wentz would have the tools available to be able to keep up with the strong arm of Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers D has been phenomenal this season, scarring QBs from around the league with their insane pass rush.
One thing that the Packers D hasn’t been tested on, was a good running game.
Jordan Howard certainly showed them what that looked like, with an incredible amount of line-breaking first downs.

This loss for Green Bay certainly adds some hubris to the season, after a loss to the injury ravaged Eagles, and adds a certain jump in the step to all of the NFC North contenders who are looking to gain ground on the cheeseheads.

Not they have 10 days off to see what they can put together.
The Eagles are certainly happy after this.

NFC Prediction

September 4, 2019 by nflinlondon

Who is going to win it all this year?
That’s what savvy, betting, NFL fans look at when it comes to cashing out, and buying that 1 bedroom condo in Boca Raton.

When it comes to the NFC, we have our own predictions that can help you buy that lonely villa.

For the NFC East, there can be no other victor than the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bearing a burning season of injuries and admissions, the Eagles look to thrash the Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants.
With a solid running game, fresh receivers and a QB who isn’t looking over his shoulder-the Eagles look set to beat up on this division.
Take them easily.

The NFC North isn’t so easy.
While many laugh and lament at the woes of Aaron Rodgers, there is no doubt that he needs to rebound this year to satisfy the hype.
Or has the sun set on A-A-Ron?
With the Bears starting to jive last year, and a new defensive coach-we like the Bears to outlast this tough division.
The Vikings have yet to show what they ‘got’ for this season, and the Lions are…well, the Lions.

Taking it to the NFC South, the real focus will be on Drew Brees and the Saints.
Can they come back from a dreadful loss last season after such a promising start?
Yes.
The rest of the division is still in divisions, so the Saints need to focus on their home wins, as well as crushing road rivals.
Saints move on.

Will the Rams repeat this year after a crushing Super Bowl loss to the Patriots?
No.
Despite Jared Goff receiving insane money, they don’t have all of the tools that they had last year.
Add to this the shaky knees of Todd Gurley, and there are questions.
The Seahawks have made numerous changes to their roster this season, not only to establish the running game, but to give more tools to Russell Wilson.
We see this paying off.
