Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich

November 8, 2019 by nflinlondon

Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich is one of the hottest things in America right now.
Some might say that it’s hotter than Tom Brady.
Might say that, not for sure.

It was only a few weeks ago that Day Prescott was in the huddle, extolling the virtues of Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets, so we know that NFL players are chicken obsessed.
https://www.12up.com/posts/video-dak-prescott-talking-about-wendy-s-spicy-nuggets-in-cowboys-huddle-is-hilarious-01dnjhjjsj42

So people will do ANYTHING to get their hands on these greasy, bird burgers.
How far does anything go?

Well take a look at this video and watch as this lady totals the side of her Mercedes trying to sneak into the drive thru.
Karma is certainly a bitch, and it looks like this lady might be as well.
What the heck was she thinking?
You can see her trying to angle her car in front of another car that was RIGHTFULLY in the drive-thru line.
She then proceeds to scrape her car against the metal bollard as she tries in vain once again to get to the line to get a chicken sandwich.

The best is the girl casually eating her sandwich while watching in silence as this moron destroys her car.
I wonder what she says to her partner when she gets home?
‘I was side-swiped, and they drove away!’
Uh huh.
Until he goes on YouTube.

Ryan’s Midseason Awards

November 7, 2019 by nflinlondon

Ryan Cull is a comedian, writer, husband & Buffalo Bills fan.
All of these things are hard to be
Here are his nominations for the half-way awards.
An awards season for being almost there.

NFL in London Mid Season Awards

MVP – Christian McCaffrey

No one has dominated the NFL and fantasy like Christian McCaffrey. When you see him line up against you during a matchup you might as well go to IKEA because there’s no point watching football this week. With over 800 yards, 10 TD’s and 40 rec he’s on his way to a LaDanian Tomlinson type season. There hasn’t been a white running back producing like this since John Riggins. If he can do it then maybe one day, a white guy can win the 100m in the Olympics.

LVP – Baker Mayfield

The one good thing about living in the UK is that I wasn’t forced to sit through Baker Mayfield commercials all off-season. They are just as awful as the Go Compere Guy I bet. Freddie Kitchens aside, Baker has been a turnover machine, quick tempered with the media, and not getting the ball to Odell. And we all know that a productive Odell is a happy Odell. If Baker doesn’t pick it up in the second half there’s going to be more drama in Cleveland then a Logan Roy Family Thanksgiving.

Rookie of the Year – Josh Jacobs

Member the Daniel Jones hype! I member! That was a fun time, when he was the second coming of Brady and the sure fire ROY. Now having regressed almost weekly, he has opened the door for the most consistent rookie Josh Jacobs. Now 7th in the NFL in rushing with 6 TDS, Josh Jacobs makes Jon Gruden look like a genius, and he needs it after the Clelin Ferrell pick which is looking like a disaster. Jacobs has kept the Raiders relevant in a season where everyone expected them to fall on their face. After the AB debacle and keeping the Raiders at 4-4, maybe Gruden hasn’t lost it!

Fantasy Player of the Year – Lamar Jackson

We will witness another shift in fantasy football next year and it will involve whether you draft Lamar Jackson number 1 overall. It’s now an official debate. A QB who can also run for 1,000 yards is like having a RB who throws 20 TDs. (Now that’s the future of the NFL!) Either way, we should all enjoy Lamar while we can because that reckless playing has never worked long term. But then again, we say Brady can’t keep doing it and look at him! Look at your master and bow down to him!……shit, sorry that was weird. The computer started typing on its own. Let’s move on.

Other Awards

Best Moustache (Or known as the Canadian Mullet) – Gardner Minshew

First Coach Fired Award – Dan Quinn – sorry Mr. Clean, it’s time to get your stain off the Falcons

Biggest Disappointment – The AFC – Get it together guys, it’s embarrassing out there. You are like the East in the NBA. Unwatchable.

Take on Ryan in the $100,000 DraftKings contest.

Week 9 Review

November 7, 2019 by nflinlondon

The Week 9 Review is here as Wade & Ryan look at all the week 9 games.

Wade took a beating going 4-8-1 and punching his stats in the gunt. Ryan was away so his picks don’t really count.

The Jaguars hosted the Texans, & it might have well been a cuckolding party as Houston ran a train on the femininity of Jacksonville.
Minshew needs to shave, & wait for the trade bus.

The Bears took another beating as Mitch Trubisky looks like Mr. Magoo when it comes to passing. His QB IQ has to be on the lowest scale of passers. Yeah, turn off the tvs-it won’t hurt as much.

Packers vs Chargers. So were the Pack-a-hella-hung after their Sat night in the city of herpes?
They looked more sluggish than a child asked to do chores. A delightful beating on the pack.

Listen to the podcast & you will find out why the ship-show goes to butnutts.

TNF-Chargers v Raiders

November 7, 2019 by nflinlondon

-1 LA Chargers (4-5) vs LA Raiders (4-4) +48.5

It’s another ruckus night of TNF, as the battle of LA hits the late night NFL session.
Who wins in this battle of the middle of the road teams?

The Chargers are coming off a surprising beatdown of the Green Bay Packers, which had everyone in the NFC North fist-pumping the sky over the humbling of Aaron Rodgers.
They executed a punishing run offence that the Packers struggled to contain.
Melvin Gordon FINALLY had a good game, and Philip Rivers and his anemic O-Line didn’t look as horrible as they normally do.

The Raiders laid a nice little beating on the Lions last week, and were able to sustain a great running game to stifle the feisty cats.
Matt Stafford was impressive in this defeat, and continues to impress even if his team depresses.

The Chargers joy will be short-lived, as the Raiders are actually quite good against the run.
Rivers will once again struggle to connect, but should be able to find a few deep ball burns on the Raiders.
Josh Jacobs will be the key here, gashing the Chargers at will, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to hit 200 yards.

I have the Raiders to stymie the Chargers and get a home win…well technically it’s home to both teams, but doubtful that any Chargers fans will show up.
