Baby Murray

November 23, 2020 by nflinlondon

Baby Yoda might be the hottest, cutest Christmas toy, but have you heard of Baby Murray?
This decorative, darling figure is the perfect gift for the NFL fan in your household.

Standing just under 6 feet tall, this beaming figure is sure to be the envy of your friends this holiday season.
Just put a ball in front of him, say ‘hike’, and watch Baby Murray do his thing.

Baby Murray is programmed for hours of fun! Tap on his head, and he will perform a series of spin moves to juke his way out of any defence. Double tap and watch his little arm fire a rocket of a pass downfield. And for pure joy, triple tap his helmet and he’ll perfectly execute a Hail-Murray pass, a heave-ho chuck to the end zone where (hopefully) Hopkins will be waiting arms outstretched to make the score.

Order now, and we’ll through in some Groaning Bills Fans, who will made audible screams as the game falls apart in one play.

Baby Murray is a limited time offer, so make sure you get yours exclusively from NFL in London, just one payment of £999.00.

(figure may just be a Cameo message of Kyler Murray laughing at you for believing this was real)

TNF Cardinals vs Seahawks

November 19, 2020 by nflinlondon

Finally a great Thursday night NFL game as the Cardinals face the Seahawks, while most of the UK will be blanket dozed through the drizzle during this one. Those brave enough to stay up for this game will be treated to an epic match-up between two heavy hitting teams.
Will Seattle be able to hoist out a much needed victory against the fast moving Arizona squad?

Cardinals (6-3) vs Seahawks (6-3)
Seahawks -3  +58

Kyler Murray is lighting up the league with his rapid fire arm, and quick moves on the field-this kid is really something to watch. Arizona has taken some tough beatings in their 3 losses, but their 6 wins point to a team that can wreck havoc on the NFC, and challenge anyone in a fight. That last minute meteoric pass to Hopkins to crush the Bills is still something I watch in slow mo for fun, and to tease Ryan.
Something is wrong with Russel Wilson. He may not be physically ill, but mentally something just doesn’t look right. He just doesn’t seem to have his head in the game, and looks listless with such great talent at his disposal. Their defence is horrendous, and other teams have essentially defecated yards while they watch helplessly.
The Cardinals have to feel buzzy after that buzzer beater in Buffalo, riding high knowing that they can beat anyone. The Seahawks are wondering what to do, where it’s all going wrong, and what they need to do to right the ship. It’s rudderless and careening towards the playoff rocks at this point, and Pete Carroll needs to do something.
I like Arizona to keep thumping here. Kyler Murray is known for his revenge tactics, and after the beating that Seattle laid on Arizona earlier this season, KM will be looking to ruin the homecoming party for the Hawks.
Seattle won’t be able to correct their D woes in this contest, it’s going to take time, and sadly they just don’t have that.
I like Arizona to win this one and move on to a 7-3 record.
Seattle will take another L on the chin and hopefully no more injuries.

Sky Sports-Week 6

October 15, 2020 by nflinlondon

We’re almost 1/3 through one of the weirdest NFL seasons on record, so you might as well sit back and enjoy it.  Sky Sports has released their schedule for week 6 in the NFL and if it’s anything like previous weeks schedules, it’s probably going to change.

Thursday

Thursday games have been postponed due to Covid, which is always a blessing for UK NFL fans. With the game usually kicking off at 1:20 in the morning, the only people who usually watch these are ardent fans, shift workers, and those o chemical stimulation.
Thursday games have traditionally been a dog turd, so when they are a good game it can become a source of frustration.
Luckily Covid has stepped in this week to spare us from a late night.

Sunday

6:00pm GMT
The Browns are back in town on Sky for 2 weeks in a row thanks to a 3-1 schedule and a divisional matchup between the undefeated Steelers.
Baker Mayfield and the boys will be back on the field against their rivals, so hopefully Mason Rudolph can avoid getting tuned-up by Myles Garret and his helmet of doom.
If you have Gamepass, this game will be blacked out.

9:20pm GMT
Aaron Rodgers vs Tom Brady in an epic matchup for the ages, since both of them are old. Tom Brady is coming off a loss to the Bears, whereas Rodgers has had 10 days to prepare for TB12 and his Florida wrecking crew.
This game will be awesome, so make sure that you have a good place to watch this one.

1:20am GMT
You going to stay up for this west coast rivalry? Before the season started, this game looked good, but as Jimmy G takes a slide ride down his career path, the Rams are struggling to get momentum.
If you’re ready to stay up til 4:30am, then this game is for you. Otherwise then you can get up early and watch the highlights from the safety of your bed.

Monday

10pm GMT
We almost had a 10pm game last week, but then Covid had to go ahead and stick its meddling nose in everything. The Buffalo Bills are set to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, with both teams coming off of a surprising week 5 loss. This game should be a doozy, and is manageable if you want to stay up til 1am to see it. It’s the age of Covid, what else are you going to do?

1:15am GMT

Poor Dak Prescott. Every fan of the game took a collective ‘ouch’ when we saw that ankle move ways that ankles aren’t supposed to. Hopefully it’s an injury that he can recover from, and if week 5 taught us anything from watching Alex Smith…anything can happen. Even if it makes you squeezy every time he takes a step back. These games SHOULD be available on Channel 5 as well, although they did have week 5 issues.

Again, these games could be cancelled or moved at any minute, so make sure you follow us on Twitter and Instagram for the latest news. We will keep you up to date on all things NFL in London.

NFL Fights

November 13, 2019 by nflinlondon

Fight! Fight! Fight!
The refs are tough in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean they can stop all of the testosterone flooding onto the field every Sunday.
Fighting has continued in the NFL, and there ain’t nothing wrong with that!

Not sure if this video will get us flagged, but we thought we would share a nice little compilation of NFL fights that have happened up until week 10 in the NFL.

Again-these rights belong to the NFL-so this could get taken down-but what a shit show!

What would happen if we allowed some fighting in the NFL like the NHL?
If the NFL allowed 2 dudes to helmet off and batter each other for a few minutes until one capitulates?
Bring it on.

Who do you think the toughest guys in the NFL are?
Aaron Donald is a beast, Kahlil Mack could mess you up, and JJ Watt could crush you with a smile.
Not the same in the ring though.

Greg Hardy made the transition to MMA, so it only seems a matter of time before other players start doing it as well.

Week 7 Predictions

October 19, 2019 by nflinlondon

Week 7 is here…already!?!?
Holy crapola that just breezed by.
There are only 2 undefeated teams-with one of them looking like that they might be able to go all season. (Hint: The Patriots)

So who wins in Week 7?
Well our pundit Wade is fresh off a winning week and is ready to make his predictions.

Texans (4-2) vs (-1) Colts (3-2) +47.5
The Colts are coming off a bye week, while the Texans are coming off a strong victory against the Chiefs.
The Colts have one of the best O-Lines in league with a D to match.
Deshaun Watson is going to struggle and be chased, so hopefully he can make a few deep ball connections.
Colts are rested-& should win easily.
Colts Win.

(-2) Vikings (4-2) vs Lions (2-2-1) +44
The Lions were robbed last week in Lambeau, while the Vikings are high on their own supply after a home win.
Stefan Diggs seems to be placated after 2 deep balls, and Kirk Cousins is looking to silence his critics.
But is this the game to do it?
Doubtful.
The Lions will be angry after that tough loss, and motivated by the home dome crowd.
Hockenson should have a big day, as will Kerryon Johnson.
Lions to win.

(-3) LA Rams (3-3) vs Falcons (1-5) +54.5
Will the real Jared Goff please stand up?
He can’t. Because his O-line sucks.
Matt Ryan continues to toss loads of yards, but his D continues to let him down.
Will he be able to rally the troops at home?
Nope.
The Rams are ready to win after too many losses.
The Falcons are about to be humbled again/
Rams win easily.

(2-4) Chargers vs (-2) Titans (2-4) +40.5
Marcus Mariota is on the outs, and Ryan Tannehill is in!
What has happened to the Tennessee Titans?
They just can’t seem to get the gang together.
Funny that the Chargers are going through the exact same thing.
Except they seem to be in freefall. Continuous falling.
Titans will win at home.

(5-1) Saints vs (-3) Bears (3-2) +38
The Bears are fresh off a spanking from the the Raiders and a weak off.
The Saints continue to thrive without QB Drew Brees.
Teddy Bridgewater seems to get them through, but it’s really Sean Payton who seems to be out coaching the opposition.
This will not be his week as the Bears are at home, and looking for win #4.
Bears win.
