Week 14 Picks

December 8, 2019 by nflinlondon

Week 14 is here already, and brings with it some tough games to bet on.
I hate week 14 because the teams struggling in the middle will often outpace their previous opponents and leave a might beatdown on some otherwise close games.

There are quite a few lines this week that are at +10 points and above. As you may know I am always adverse to these huge spreads, but then Week 14 brings with it desperation for divisional superiority. There are a few games today where the spread just might get covered because they really NEED it.

Take a looksee at some of my picks, and click away to join with our BetRegal promotion.

-6 Ravens (10-2)  vs Bills (9-3)

Ugh, this is a tough one. The Bills are at home for a totally craptastical weather forecast. It’s hard to score loads of points when it sucks like that, so maybe focus on the under. The Bills have a tight squad like the 49ers. The can shut you down on D, and Josh Allen moves the ball to some favourite targets. The Bills should stay in this one, but the Ravens should win in a tight one.

49ers (10-2) vs -2.5 Saints (10-2)

Some people were surprised at this line, with the Saints being the fave. They are at home, and have started to lead a dismantling defence and an offence that is starting to find its funk again.
Brees is rightly favoured at home, and should load up loads of points to Michael Thomas. The 49ers will keep it close if they can punish with the run. Saints win.

Bengals (1-11) vs -7.5 Browns (5-7)

The Browns are in a weird freefall. It’s like the Myles incident and their poor play have compounded on the team in a malaise. They don’t seem to be a solid locker room team. Things will get worse this week when they face an Andy Dalton led team that is looking for vindication. This is a big divisional game, and one the Bengals can even win. If Joe Mixon can get into a rhythm, they can really pound the poor dog pound into a whimper. Bengals win.

Dolphins (3-9) vs -5.5 Jets (4-8)

5.5 points for the Jets? Not sure about this. They have been very inconsistent, and Darnold can either shine or shudder under opposing defenders. Leveon Bell is out for this one as well, which will limit the ground options and put more pressure on Sam Mono-arnold. FitzMagic is feeling it, and they have a coach who is ready to mess around to get points. They can be cagey, even if the crappy weather in NY will be a limitation. Miami covers.

Chiefs (8-4) vs Patriots (10-2)

Tom Brady is old and dead. That’s what recent performances have made critics claim as they bemoan the death of a GOAT. But this is TB12 in Foxboro, in December. Historically it doesn’ t go well for opponents, and this match will echo the heralds of history. Mahomes will be chased all night until his knee pops or he tosses INTs. They will need to use Kelce and a solid running game to mess them up, but Tom is too good at home. Patriots win it.

Bear Fight

December 6, 2019 by nflinlondon

The Bears laid a beating on the Cowboys on TNF, but it wasn’t just limited to the field.

Thanks to the savvy, sober fans at the game, they were able to pick up this post game melee in the concession area.

Watch as a few Bears fans get the better of a couple of Cowboys fans who are hell bent on a little fist a cuffs.

The Bears fan gets a few shots in, while the Dallas fans are left to struggle to contain their adrenaline. The fight just like the game is pretty much over. And just like the Cowboys, these guys will have to face the video the next day to see the extent of their ass-whopping.

It’s never great to see violence in the stands, or at a game. You look like a drunken idiot who can’t control your emotions. Add to this children as spectators, and this needs to be ended immediately. Fortunately in North America, this doesn’t happen very often.

If you have any fight videos, please send them to us as well. As much as we deplore violence at any NFL event, we do love a scoop-so please send them to us direct so we can ‘WorldStar’ the crap out of your content.

Bear down.

Week 13 Review

Week 13 Review Podcast

Well Week 13 is done and dusted and a few surprises hit the boys in an off-kilter betting week in the NFL.

Wade & Ryan both took a few gut punch games, but all in all they did pretty well.
In this podcast the boys break down all of the games and how these outcomes will affect their playoff chances.
They also preview the TNF game between the Cowboys and Bears, two 6-6 teams who really need a win to get their playoff picture a little more clear.

Some of the games they review in this podcast include:

49ers-17 Ravens-20

This was a tight game in crappy weather. The Niners were without key running backs, but were still able to move the ball. Lamar was Lamar, he moved the ball well, shuffled his feet and led like a captain. This was a Super Bowl worthy game, and the teams here really delivered.

Eagles-31 Dolphins 38

Ryan Tannehill for MVP? Not really, but wow he really lit up this muffled Eagles team. They were scored on and humbled by a Dolphins team with nothing to lose. Great effort by the Fins as they tussled the hair of Philly, and made the NFC North title a much further grasp away.

Buc 28 Jaguars 11

What is it with Jameis Winston? No, really. He can be a liability with the ball in his hands, but he can also put together a load of points, and their D shuts down so much. The Bucs have had a topsy-turvy season, and they will need to shuffle a few things together before they can be playoff scary. But they can be…eventually.

Follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for all the tips.

See ya Sunday.

Playoff Picture

December 4, 2019 by nflinlondon

What a wild, and wacky week of the NFL!
We learned a lot of things from the Week 13 games, and it nicely sets up the action for the playoffs.
Only a few games left, and everyone of them counts.

There were a few epic matches in Week 13 that will affect the whole playoff scenario.
They include:

Bills vs Cowboys

The Cowboys were the real turkeys here, taking a beating from the Bills. Despite losing 2 games, the Cowboys move further up the playoff rankings thanks to the ineptitude of all of their division. The Bills continue to truck along, and make themselves a very unwelcome candidate to face in the Wildcard Games.

Titans vs Colts

Ryan Tannehill is for real! All hail our new GOAT! Ok, maybe he’s not that good-but he does a good job with that offence. Derek Henry is having a great year as well, thanks to that solid O-Line. The Colts are in freewill now, and it won’t be easy with another tough week ahead.
The Titans are another team you don’t want to face in round 1.

49ers vs Ravens

Well they slowed down Lamar…a bit. The 49ers lost a tough one to the Ravens in a wild weather weekend. It was a good, if not muted game-that saw how to beat both teams. They both move on in the playoffs, with the Ravens now in top spot in the AFC.

Eagles vs Dolphins

The Dolphins and Fitzmagic put the boot to the wingless Eagles, and that looks like their season. To lose to the Dolphins of 2019 is pretty damn embarrassing. And there has been a lot of shame going around this season. The Eagles pretty much handed it to the Cowboys.

Patriots vs Texans

So, Tom Brady is human after all. The Texans put the noose on the Patriots, and didn’t let go. With no offensive weapons at his disposal, Brady is going to struggle this season to go anywhere. The Texans have taken some big losses, but this win was HUGE in the tough AFC.

The playoff windows will change each week, with the NFC a hotbed of action.

Who will make the cut next week?

Make sure you join our DraftKings pool to play along this week.
