Belushi’s Hammersmith

Are you ready for some NFL?
Then head down to Belushi’s Hammersmith for a great night of NFL games.

This Belushi’s isn’t like any of them you have seen before, it’s been totally renovated and ready for your experience.

Conveniently located near most major tube lines, the bar is right across from both Hammersmith locations, which means there is no excuse for getting lost!
Loads of great beers on tap, amazing wings, plus over 25+ tvs and a massive projector to watch all of the games.

Best of all-it’s open until 1am-so you won’t have to worry about getting booted out of your game before its over.

Belushi’s will be blasting all of the Sky games, plus Redzone starting at 6pm.
*there might be annoying soccer on-be patient til it’s over.

Want to watch your own game?
No problem! Bring in a tablet or computer and stream right onto Gamepass and you are ready to go!

Belushi’s also has stadium seating, so that you can get right into the experience of levels, all while cheering on the game with your friends.

Cheap beer, great food, and a hostel located upstairs in case you and the gang decide that you want to crash over for the evening.

Wade & Ryan will be there this Sunday!
Come say hi!

Week 1 Review

September 12, 2019 by nflinlondon

Ugh! What a week in the NFL!
New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens & Dallas Cowboys put on a smoke show of points in some hotly contested matches.
Or were they?

Wade McElwain & Ryan Cull break down all of the week 1 matches in the NFL.

Bears vs Packers
Mitchell Trubisky was a joke show as previously discussed.

Chiefs vs Jaguars
Patrick Mahomes blew the lid on the joint with his footwork & passing, while the Jags were blown by Big Dick Nick.
Will Milshewn, Milden, Mildew be a #1 qb?

Titans vs Chiefs
The Titans are what now? The Browns did who they hey now?
A real lesson in protection & fulfilment.
The Titans stuffed & roughed the Browns.

Bills vs Jets
Don’t believe the hype Jets fans!
Despite an early lead, the Bills rallied to snuff the Jets & a tepid offence, plus a D that took it more than an 80s porn star.
Am I right?

Giants vs Cowboys
Like wedding a lamb, to a cowboy.
Dak & company made it look easy as they dismembered the Giants in a succulent fashion.
The Giants suck, so Dak will have to prove himself going forward.

Ravens vs Miami
Seriously, talking about the Miami Dolphins is like talking about a school shooting.
Just don’t.

Bucs vs 49ers
Bruce Arians doesn’t whisper no more.
Jameis was Shameis again in a disparaging match of crap.
The 49ers looked ok’ish, but Jimmy G still looks like that knee is a glass heirloom.

Texans vs Saints
Best game of the week, bar none.
Deshaun Watson carved a tough D with some of the west WRs in the game.
Drew Brees answered, in what was a match of the season, at least the best game thus far.
Brees’ last minute drive to get Will Lutz the chance to FG was a genius drive.
Still my pick of the NFC..thus far.

Listen, Laugh, Share, Wine, Day Drink, Shoplift, Karen.

Texans vs Saints

September 10, 2019 by nflinlondon

Week 1 brought a great southern match-up between the Saints and the Texans.
The Saints are heavily favoured to go all the way in 2019, while the Texans have higher hopes than Panic at the Disco.

What a game it was!
The Texans came all out at the Saints, using a great running game, and an even better Deshaun Watson, who carved up the Saints with fancy footwork and some great passes.

In the end, it all came down to Drew Trees-who came from behind and was able to get his team to secure the last minute, winning field goal.

Watch the highlights and be amazed!

NFC Prediction

September 4, 2019 by nflinlondon

Who is going to win it all this year?
That’s what savvy, betting, NFL fans look at when it comes to cashing out, and buying that 1 bedroom condo in Boca Raton.

When it comes to the NFC, we have our own predictions that can help you buy that lonely villa.

For the NFC East, there can be no other victor than the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bearing a burning season of injuries and admissions, the Eagles look to thrash the Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants.
With a solid running game, fresh receivers and a QB who isn’t looking over his shoulder-the Eagles look set to beat up on this division.
Take them easily.

The NFC North isn’t so easy.
While many laugh and lament at the woes of Aaron Rodgers, there is no doubt that he needs to rebound this year to satisfy the hype.
Or has the sun set on A-A-Ron?
With the Bears starting to jive last year, and a new defensive coach-we like the Bears to outlast this tough division.
The Vikings have yet to show what they ‘got’ for this season, and the Lions are…well, the Lions.

Taking it to the NFC South, the real focus will be on Drew Brees and the Saints.
Can they come back from a dreadful loss last season after such a promising start?
Yes.
The rest of the division is still in divisions, so the Saints need to focus on their home wins, as well as crushing road rivals.
Saints move on.

Will the Rams repeat this year after a crushing Super Bowl loss to the Patriots?
No.
Despite Jared Goff receiving insane money, they don’t have all of the tools that they had last year.
Add to this the shaky knees of Todd Gurley, and there are questions.
The Seahawks have made numerous changes to their roster this season, not only to establish the running game, but to give more tools to Russell Wilson.
We see this paying off.
