Well NFL fans, this is the last month until March 2023 that we will have ZERO NFL action. That means the NFL is only a few weeks away!
Getting excited yet?

To kick off all that is July, we offer up some til bits of NFL-July news to get you through the weekend.

Among some of the things we are paying attention to this week.

London Games

Tickets have already gone on sale for the London games, and given the frustration we have seen and heard online, most of the tickets seemed to have already been scooped up.

The Tottenham games have gone fast, nit not to worry-there always seem to be a stream of tickets that come out and become available to fans who are regular season ticket holders.

New season ticket holders got a chance to snag tickets on June 30th, while anyone looking to grab single tickets for Tottenham stadium will have to wait until Tuesday July 26th.

We will let you know about tickets as we hear about them, and remember to not buy tickets from scalpers, or you could be in for a nightmare.

Deshaun Deshaun

The drama in Ohio continues to thunder on, as the wet spots of Watson’s legacy continue to seep through onto the massage table.

With more accusations (and dismissals) the headaches for the Browns should be over soon-as it looks like the NFL is targeting Watson to miss the whole season.

This could be a real pain in the butt for the Browns, who have pissed off Baker Mayfield to an almighty ‘Karen’ status.

Remember a few years ago when Cleveland was touted as one of the top faves in the AFC? Oh how the mighty have been rubbed and tugged down.

Bonilla Bonanza

All NFL players (& other athletes) must love July 1st-aka Bobby Bonilla Day.

If you’re not aware, MLB player Bobby Bonilla and his savvy agent signed a deal to pay off the $5.9 million owed to Bonilla in instalments tagged with interest.
The NY Mets had wanted him to retire, but he said ‘no dice-pay me bitches.’

Despite only owing Bobby close to $6 million, the Mets have now paid Bonilla $14.3m, with another $15.5m owed over 15 more years.

In the end Bonilla will rake in close to $30m since 2000.

Happy July indeed!

Big T

Sad news from the world of the NFL, as former Colts & Ravens player Tony Siragusa aka ‘The Goose’ died at the age of 55.

Siragusa was not only a big personality on the field, but off as well-participating in many NFL sideline antics for TV, as well as hosting some notable TV series as well.

Big T also ‘made it’, when he appeared as Frank Cortese on the HBO series ‘The Sopranos.’

Jaylon

More sad news from Baltimore, as another Raven is to be seen nevermore.

Ravens OLB Jaylon Ferguson died of an accidental drug overdose.

‘Sack Daddy’ as he was known in college fell victim to the scary, and increasingly tragic fentanyl/cocaine overdose.

Experts are warning for a onslaught on fentanyl deaths in the future, as most cocaine on the west coast of America is thought to contain some traces of the drug.

Sadly, these kind of horrific deaths are going to become more popular with the inclusion of this drug in the mix.

Ferguson was only 26 ,and leaves behind 3 kids.

 

Cube It

Rapper/ Actor/ Advocate-Ice Cube is partnering with the NFL to promote and develop more initiatives for the NFL to invest in black owned businesses across America.

NFL VP of Operations head Troy Vincent has been working with the Cube to help invest NFL funding into local and national business of colour that could use a step up.

About damn time.

It’s sad for everyone involved, we just want to see the guy go back to tossing INTs and throwing the whole AFC North into disrepair.

Commando Style

If any franchise was to receive a POS award, it would have to be the Washington Commanders.

From the creepy Dan Synder, to a stadium that floods poo, secretly recording cheerleaders, and a coach who thought the actions on Jan 6th was just good fun.
Commanders, we have a problem.

Jack Del Rio gets a slap down from Ron Rivera, but the problems remain in the capital.

Things seemed to go easier for the team when they were known as ‘Redskins.’

Buck the Broncos

“Attention NFL shoppers! The Walmart family is now an NFL owner, please head to aisle 4 for the blue light specials.”

Rob Walton (sounds so wholesome) has dipped his whistle into the NFL ownership, paying a whopping 4.65B for the Denver Broncos.
With the death of Paul Allen, that makes Walton the richest NFL owner by a long shot.

Of course the family is no stranger danger to NFL ownership, with Rob’s sister married to LA Rams own Stan Kroeneke.

The other owner in the new Broncos is Melody Hobson, who also happens to be married to the dark force of Hollywood-George Lucas.

So much for getting a black owner.

USFL

Have you been watching the USFL this season? No, us either.

It seems to be doing well ratings-wise, as the games are filling that bereft gap that happens during the early summer months.

With the final season happening this weekend, it looks like the Birmingham Stallions have the whole league wrapped up with undefeated play.

Of course it’s the USFL, so anything can happen. Like Donald Trump buying a team, then running it head on into the NFL out of spite.

Could happen.

Miami Dolphnuts

What a world it is in Miami, as all of the rumours about the Payton Super Team come out of the wood work.

If you hadn’t heard, the plan was for Sean Payton to lead the Dolphins, as Tom Brady switched to Miami to lead the fish to an AFC title, and another Superbowl for TB12.

Shit got real when former coach Brian Flores felt he was being told to use the ‘other fountain’ in a shameful display of racial bias towards the coach.

It all came tumbling down, but some of the rumours are holding water.

Brady confirms that this was the plan, but shucks-gee-golly, he always meant to be a Buc.

Maybe they’ll try again this year.

London Games

We have some exciting news to share with our UK fans for the upcoming year in the next month regarding NFL London experiences, and some fun stuff to happen for 2022.

Well it’s June NFL fans, which means all we need to do is get this pesky summer over with, and we’re back in the NFL sweet spot.

Let’s look at all of the action ahead in our June News!

Are you excited for the upcoming NFL season, or are you dreading another miserable season for your squad?

London Games

Are you ready for the NFL London games for 2022?
If you haven’t been locked in a cave, then you know that we have some pretty sweet games on tap for this autumn, as we get the Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints on October 2nd, New York Giants vs Green Bay Packers on Oct 9th, and finally the Denver Broncos roll into Wembley to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 30th for a spooky Hallo’s eve contest.

Tickets for the Tottenham games go on sale on Monday June 20th for season ticket holders, and premium packages for the games will go on sale on June 22nd.

Prices for the games will range from £64 for category seven nose-bleeders to season tickets for both games in the sweet seats for £292.
Make sure that you get your tickets early and you DON’T bother with ticket scalpers.

Wembley game tickets will go on sale soon-watch this space.

Elementary Watson

The Browns went all in on Deshaun Watson, pulling back the towel and letting all the bits hang-but will he be hanging with the team this year?

Another allegation is rubbing and tugging on Watson, as the Browns get that icky feeling that they might need the snubbed services of Baker Mayfield for 2022 if Watson gets iced for a bunch of games.

While nothing has been proven in court, the court of public opinion os slowly turning the tide on the Browns as this saga goes on.

Let’s hope it all gets settled and the Browns can go back doing what they do best, frustrating their fans.

Spanos in the Works

Speaking of owners, Chargers owner Dean Spanos is being sued by his sister over claims of misogyny in the organisation.

Dea Spanos (really mom & dad?)-said that her brothers acted out of a sense of entitlement, and subverted women’s rights in their wrestling of control of the team.

Dean Spanos was quick to retort ‘Shut the fuck up Karen’and get back to the kitchen’.

Family huh?

Walmart Broncos

Attention Denver shoppers, there is a blue light special in aisle 7, as Rob Walton snaps up the Denver Broncos for a whopping 4.65 billion dollars.

It’s the highest price ever for an NFL team, and one that will make all the other owners happy as clams, pushing the value of their product even further.

Walton is one of the heirs to the Walmart empire, and should be an interesting owner in terms of his net worth-as some of the Walton kids hover around the $58B.
Not too shabby, and puts him in the upper echelons of the richest NFL owners.

Other teams that might be next on the sales block includes The New Orleans Saints, the Chicago Bears; Seattle Seahawks, LA Chargers and of course the Washington Commanders.

Out of the top 100 viewed programs on American TV last year, 92 of them were NFL games-meaning this game is only getting bigger. (or all other wokey TV is just crap).

J-Lo Mould

Dancer Jennifer Lopez has looked back at her 2020 SuperBowl halftime performance with Shakira, and called it the ‘worst decision in the world’, putting decisions of genocide, purges and holocausts on the back burner.

Despite barely being a singer, actor, or influencer, Lopez felt that having two headliners on the stage would distract the fans, who of course were only at the SuperBowl to watch menopausal women gyrate while children in cages watched on helplessly.
Even Janet Jackson’s nipple was heard to comment ‘WTF girl!’

Jebbifer make the remarks in an upcoming documentary about her vapid life, while Shakira loves anything that isn’t a comment on her marital demise to a much younger football player.

At least they both had to pay to perform, which is the lesson really learned here.

London Games 2022

‘Whomp there it is’, in the words of the immortal ‘Tag Team’ we now know the full dealio for the NFL London games 2022.

Who’s coming? Where are they playing? Is Antonio Brown coming?
All of these questions answered and more in a ‘too early to tell’ about what’s going to actually go down for these games.
We are fuelled by excitement at this point.

Germany

Raise up your steins and scream out a ‘Prosit!’, as the NFL makes its way to southern Germany for a great 2022 game, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Seattle Seahawks in Munich.

Slated for November 13th at 2:30 pm GMT (9:30am EST)-this is the penultimate game in the international series this season.

Everyone in Europe knows that the Germans have a HUGE love for the NFL, and are some of the nicest, coolest fans to pop to London when the games are in the UK.

German fans deserve this game, although they may not deserve a Drew Lock led Seattle team that will probably get blitzed by the Bucs D all day, every day.

Todd Bowles will be at the reigns for the Bucs this season, with Tom Brady being the best dang sports ambassador for the league in decades.

Who knows, maybe TB12 will jump behind the FOX booth to throw down a little broadcasting while he’s at it too?

Wembley

Once the most prestigious stadium in Europe, Wembley is back once again to panhandle a game from the Jags for the series.

Wembley is a far cry from its early 2000s’ NFL games, when there was nothing around the stadium, and fans found their own tailgating options-often gooning back tinnies in the Curry’s parking lot before kickoff.

This October sees the return of Russ, as Russell Wilson and his new look Broncos will be ready to rock the Urban Meyer-less Jacksonville Jaguars.

October 30th sees the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Denver Broncos for a 1:30pm (9:30amEST) kickoff in northwest London.

Chances are both teams will already have a losing record heading to London, but that’s the momentum they’ll need to head home and kick some ass.

Tottenham Stadium

Welcome to the jungle, as north London gets two beauties of games at the brand spanking newish stadium in Tottenham.

Sure, there is nothing to do around the stadium-and some of the side streets look pretty dodgy, but what a stadium!

White Hart Lane will be banging for two straight weeks of NFL games, as early October brings us our own harvest of gridiron feasts.

Sunday October 2 sees the New Orleans Saints hosting the Minnesota Vikings in a miracle rematch that will have NFC fans frothing.
With a 2:30pm (GMT) kickoff, this will be the first of our international games, and will harken back to 2017 when these two teams faced off in the playoffs.

It will be the Kirk Cousins led speedsters versus the punishing D of the Saints, in what should be a very exciting NFL game to start our journey.

Sunday October 9th is the day that Cheeseheads in UK will be sniffing their fingers, as Aaron Rodgers and the Pack make their first appearance ever in Europe, when the Green Bay Packers host the New York Giants at Tottenham.

It’s been a long wait for Wiconsinites in the UK, as the heralded Packers are finally playing their first game in Britain.

This game will sell out very quickly, and will be as tight as the Packers cap space for this season.

Going to be a great game!

Mexico

Ola! Welcome to Mexico City-please put your laser pointers in the bin-as the Arizona Cardinals host the San Francisco 49ers Sunday May 21st in Estadio Azteca at 1:30am GMT.

Will Jimmy G be leading the charge, or will they Trey Lance the boil that is the 49ers QB situation?

This game will have major divisional consequences, and it’s too bad it will be too late to watch.

We are already very excited about the games, and are working on some tailgating, after parties, as well as regular season events to entertain our loyal fans.

So the rumours keep chunking out that TB12 was due to not only QB the Dolphins, but also be a part owner, until bad boy Bill Belichick pissed all over the parade by tipping off Brian Flores.
If it’s all true, it’s a very Putin-esque way of making sure that Miami doesn’t expand in their division, after all, they’re full of nazis.
Brady might be back in 2023 to try this whole thing again!

Unfollow Deebo

After being used and abused as the ‘go-to’ man for the 49ers last years, speedster Deebo Samuel wants to get paid.
After watching Davante Adams get paid, then Tyreek, then everyone else, Deebo wants to be the next money man, and San Fran better pony up.
Of course, the 49ers like many teams don’t have the cashola to keep up with player egos, so Deebo’s block could remain in place until the team can find ways to ‘restructure.’

Carr’s Crackers

Derek Carr can finally breathe that big breath of freedom, as the Raiders made good on a promise to keep him in Sin City for the foreseeable future.
After signing for $121.5m until 2025, Carr solidifies himself as the longest termed QB of the future, and allowing him to play with all his speedy new toys.
Derek Carr is what Baker Mayfield wishes what he saw in the mirror.

Baker’s Baked

Baker Mayfield has now entered the ‘Whiny’ phase of his career, preferring to bitch and moan instead of doing anything about it.
BM was recently captured saying that he wishes he could ‘boo fans where they work’, to see how they liked it.
The does nothing to help Baker get a starting job this year, although it does give him the proper attitude to become a pundit.

AB BA ABBA!

Poor AB..actually, screw him! And Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd has offered to cover the losses of any team that takes a chance on AB (and offering him $20M) for the 2023 season.
If dude can’t keep it together playing with Tom Brady, do you think he’ll show any sense of class playing with the likes of Kirk Cousins or Carson Wentz?
Save the drama for your many baby mama’s!

Cam Cam Cam

Cam Newton made himself less relevant this week when he unleashed a slew of misogny for no reason whatsoever.
Cam was heard to be dismissive of women, and suggested that they ‘go back to the kitchen’, in a refreshing take for a man under 40.
If those fancy hats were stopping you from getting a job before Mr. Newton, your gendered social media performance will certainly help you out with that.

USFL

It’s back! If you have been missing the feels of football, you’re in luck this weekend, as the USFL returns to our televisions.
If you weren’t aware, the USFL existed in the 1980s’, but fell into ruin thanks to the efforts of a certain Donald Trump (plus way more reasons!).
Here’s something to jog your memory.

Anywho, the USFL is back this weekend, and will offer NFL fans a chance to catch on more football! Hooray!

The first game will see New Jersey face Birmingham at 12:30am GMT Sunday.

Sunday will see some more UK friendly viewing times, as Houston takes on Michigan at 5pm, Philly vs New Orleans at 9pm, and Tamps vs Pittsburgh on 1am Monday morning.

According the USFL website, the games will be available in the UK via ESPN International…so you probably won’t be able to watch them.

Dwayne Haskins

The NFL world was shocked this week to lose NFL player Dwayne Haskins in a roadside accident.

He was a young, black man who had enormous pressure thrust upon him as a starting QB, and his struggles were something we all could see on a weekly basis.

Hugs and love to his family and friends who have to deal with such a senseless tragedy.
