Week 13 Preview

November 30, 2019 by nflinlondon

It’s Week 13 ya turkeys!
Are you ready for some NFL picks?

Wade and Ryan are ready to hand down some great picks for you to use to make some NFL money before the holiday season. Are you ready for their expert picks?

They first look at what happened in the Thanksgiving games, and all the football action that went down.
Including:

  • Trubisky looks okay-ish, but Bears fans still want more.
  • The Lions playing ‘nothing to lose’ football.
  • Was this the biggest weekend ever in the NFL for onside kicks?
  • Dallas might be America’s team, but everyone likes the Bills.
  • Will the Bills get the props they deserve, or is there a reason the pundits fade them?
  • Taysom Hill looked great in his utility role for the Saints
  • The Falcons are sucky sucky all over-except their special teams kicker who is great.

Some of the other games they have an eye on this weekend.

-6.5 Packers vs Giants

Aaron Rodgers will be playing angry this week after getting humiliated by the 49ers last week. The Giants are a team of broken toys, so how will they be able to do anything to muster a fight? Look for a beatdown. A big one.

49ers vs -6 Ravens

This is the SuperBowl of Week 13, with two teams destined for the playoffs facing off each other in a great game. The 49ers have beaten everyone (not Seahawks) in their path, yet find themselves 6 point underdogs in this contest. Wade and Ryan both like the Ravens in this one, although Wade doesn’t think that they will cover that spread.

Bucs vs -1 Jaguars

Jameis has been getting loads of points, but also chucking tonnes of INT’s. Will he be able to turn it around for this one? The Jags however are on another path. An ugly, stinky , path. Nick Foles has been a busted nut, and Minshew-Mania is all but forgotten. Look for Tampa to easily cover this one.

Make sure you join our DraftKings contests, as well as some of the enhanced odds we can put together with BetRegal.

Join us this Sunday at the Princess Alex in Crouch End, where we watch all of the games until 1am. See ya Sunday.

Week 11 Review

November 21, 2019 by nflinlondon

Wow! Week 11 was like a punch in the head, except with a helmet…but it kind of missed…but it was scary.

Well it wasn’t just all about Myles Garrett, but he sure set the tone on TNF with that sledgehammer attack with a helmet on Mason Rudolph.
He apologised though…so..there’s that.

In this podcast, Wade McElwain & Ryan Cull blast through all of the games and highlights to give you a nice vantage on the week that was.
They also chat about:

Detroit Lions

Beaten, hampered, and injured, these Lions should be a meme. Even without Matthew Stafford they continue to compete. Imagine what they team would have been like had he played this week. They kept it close (again) almost toppling the Cowboys. It will be interesting to see what they do with him next season.

Falcon On!

Atlanta has finally managed to put a few wins together, but it’s too little too late. Are they winning for Dan Quinn, or winning because they just hate losing. Opposing teams should fear these guys in the coming weeks, as they have nothing to lose.

Washington Rot-Skins

Bring out your dead! Bring out your dead! The woeful Redskins continue to watch their season flush down the toilet. Sure, they play better than the Bengals, but at least the injured cats try. You know it’s bad when you have to rely on Adrian Peterson and a bunch of no-names.

Bronco Kicked

Ouch Denver. You had a 20 point lead at the half, and then you let it slip away. Geez Louise! The Vikings were able to come back, but they were man-handled by that defensive line. It’s tough for a team with a great D, but a horrible, horrible offense with a bunch of losers.

Baredown

You suck Mitch Trubisky! In case you haven’t heard that enough, let me blast that for you one more time. Trubisky is sucking bad, and shows no signs of getting better. At least Cutler embraced being an a-hole.
You know it’s bad when you miss Cutler.

Make sure you join our DraftKings League, and look out for some options from BetRegal this week.

We will also announce our Thanksgiving plans tomorrow, so get your gobble on.

Week 12-Sky

November 21, 2019 by nflinlondon

It’s Week 12 already! Are you ready for some football?

Sky Sports usually chooses some good’ish games to play, but they are hampered by fans across the UK who want to see their team.
There are loads of games on, but these ones look pretty good.

TNF

It’s Colts vs Texans at 1:20am Friday morning, which means a whopping 6 people will be watching this match. It should be a good game, and Wade & Ryan will preview it on the next podcast for the Week 11 review.

Seahawks vs Eagles

The Eagles are coming down from an emotional loss, where they HAD the Patriots, but squandered it away. It didn’t help that they took a bunch of injuries when they were leading 10-0.
Will they be motivated enough here to take down the high flying hawks?
It’s the battle of the birds!

Cowboys vs Patriots

‘Dem boys have been playing well, but well enough to take down Tom and Billy B? Pretty doubtful with the Patriots coming off a bye. They should be fired up at Foxboro to be able to hold them off.
This game goes late, so hope you get your rest for Monday.

Packers vs 49ers

This game would have been HUGE a few decades ago, but it should be an interesting proposition for a late Sunday game. Will the 49ers get enough guys back from injury? How will Aaron Rodgers hold up against this fast and furious game. This game starts at 1:20am, so be prepared to take Monday off!

See ya Sunday.
