Podcast Ep55-An Englishman in Texas

August 22, 2019 by nflinlondon

London boy Callum Squires joins Wade on the podcast today to talk about all things NFL and Texas.

Callum lived in Texas for a few years while playing football in the Texas divisions.
The whole experience opened his eyes from the way they drink, to the way that American girls say ‘I love your accent.’

Wade & Callum talk the NCAA system, Texas Friday Night lights and American girls.

Podcast Ep 54-Training Camp

August 22, 2019 by nflinlondon

The boys are back in town, and ready to play.

The preseason is officially here with NFL training camp, and the rosters are fully bloated with a cull on the brain.

Speaking of cull, we have Ryan Cull and Wade McElwain hosting another handy-dandy podcast of information and insight.

The talk about the perils of training camp, how being the fat guy is really bad, as well as look at some of the hold-out options that exist for some of the tardy players.

Always a great listen-share and enjoy!

Peyton’s Comeback

August 22, 2019 by nflinlondon

This is why Peyton Manning was such a beast.

The year is 2003 and the Colts find themselves down 21 its to the heavily favoured Tampa Bay Bucs.
The Bucs, under Gruden had won the Super Bowl the previous year-but Peyton still had work to do.

Watch as he is able to come back with 3 minutes left and torch the hapless team by the bay.

The Colts would go on to beat the Bears in the Super Bowl that year.

Podcast Ep. 53-Franchise This!

August 22, 2019 by nflinlondon

The NFL season always starts with the usual BS, but the biggest part of it is the franchise tag.
It’s the equivalent of going to a buffet and spitting on the shrimp so that nobody eats it.
But what if those shrimp don’t want to be spit on.
Too bad.

Wade McElwainn & Ryan Cull look at the franchise takes, and who indeed might be snagged by their teams.

Podcast-Ep 52-The Longest Offseason

August 18, 2019 by nflinlondon

How long is this offseason going to continue for?
It feels longer than a cricket match….& that’s long.

Luckily the damp, darkness of summer is here to take away the pain of not having football.

How will this offseason end?
Wade & Ryan discuss the potential for NFL in a few, scant weeks, as well as look at the whole AB & Steelers situation.

How will AB handle the west coast?
Will he torch them like he did the Steelers?
Will the Raiders be any good?

So many question.
