Week 13 Review

Week 13 Review Podcast

Well Week 13 is done and dusted and a few surprises hit the boys in an off-kilter betting week in the NFL.

Wade & Ryan both took a few gut punch games, but all in all they did pretty well.
In this podcast the boys break down all of the games and how these outcomes will affect their playoff chances.
They also preview the TNF game between the Cowboys and Bears, two 6-6 teams who really need a win to get their playoff picture a little more clear.

Some of the games they review in this podcast include:

49ers-17 Ravens-20

This was a tight game in crappy weather. The Niners were without key running backs, but were still able to move the ball. Lamar was Lamar, he moved the ball well, shuffled his feet and led like a captain. This was a Super Bowl worthy game, and the teams here really delivered.

Eagles-31 Dolphins 38

Ryan Tannehill for MVP? Not really, but wow he really lit up this muffled Eagles team. They were scored on and humbled by a Dolphins team with nothing to lose. Great effort by the Fins as they tussled the hair of Philly, and made the NFC North title a much further grasp away.

Buc 28 Jaguars 11

What is it with Jameis Winston? No, really. He can be a liability with the ball in his hands, but he can also put together a load of points, and their D shuts down so much. The Bucs have had a topsy-turvy season, and they will need to shuffle a few things together before they can be playoff scary. But they can be…eventually.

Follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for all the tips.

See ya Sunday.

Week 13 Preview

November 30, 2019 by nflinlondon

It’s Week 13 ya turkeys!
Are you ready for some NFL picks?

Wade and Ryan are ready to hand down some great picks for you to use to make some NFL money before the holiday season. Are you ready for their expert picks?

They first look at what happened in the Thanksgiving games, and all the football action that went down.
Including:

  • Trubisky looks okay-ish, but Bears fans still want more.
  • The Lions playing ‘nothing to lose’ football.
  • Was this the biggest weekend ever in the NFL for onside kicks?
  • Dallas might be America’s team, but everyone likes the Bills.
  • Will the Bills get the props they deserve, or is there a reason the pundits fade them?
  • Taysom Hill looked great in his utility role for the Saints
  • The Falcons are sucky sucky all over-except their special teams kicker who is great.

Some of the other games they have an eye on this weekend.

-6.5 Packers vs Giants

Aaron Rodgers will be playing angry this week after getting humiliated by the 49ers last week. The Giants are a team of broken toys, so how will they be able to do anything to muster a fight? Look for a beatdown. A big one.

49ers vs -6 Ravens

This is the SuperBowl of Week 13, with two teams destined for the playoffs facing off each other in a great game. The 49ers have beaten everyone (not Seahawks) in their path, yet find themselves 6 point underdogs in this contest. Wade and Ryan both like the Ravens in this one, although Wade doesn’t think that they will cover that spread.

Bucs vs -1 Jaguars

Jameis has been getting loads of points, but also chucking tonnes of INT’s. Will he be able to turn it around for this one? The Jags however are on another path. An ugly, stinky , path. Nick Foles has been a busted nut, and Minshew-Mania is all but forgotten. Look for Tampa to easily cover this one.

Make sure you join our DraftKings contests, as well as some of the enhanced odds we can put together with BetRegal.

Join us this Sunday at the Princess Alex in Crouch End, where we watch all of the games until 1am. See ya Sunday.

Week 12

Wade & Ryan both had a solid week 12. Ryan went a smoking 10-4 for the week, with Wade just topping him at 11-3. They were both able to finagle some of the tougher matches, and pull out a winning score. Hopefully you made some money off of our picks.

Browns
They both knew that Cleveland would play angry, & boy they did. Jarvis Landry was walking on TD water, and the Myles-less D was humming. Of course, it was the Dolphins

Jets
J-E-T-S, bet you hate hearing that now Gruden. Darnold and the Dusties came out flinging, and Le’veon Bell finally got his legs working. Gruden looked like he wanted to crawl under the Gatorade by halftime. How will these teams play out their season?

Bears
Oh Mitch. Why, just why? He finally got some spark in his knickers in the second, but still throws like Mr. Magoo in an MMA fight. Mack was on the attack, but the Giants were able to score late to cover the spread and save both guys.

Make sure you listen to our podcast every week, we do 2 of them.
We are also streaming our Facebook live video every week as well, as we are too tired to edit it.

Here are some of the games that Wade and Ryan agree on. Some of them are upsets, which makes their harmony even sweeter.

Broncos vs -4 Bills

4 points is a big ask for a Bills team at home. Sure, Josh Allen had a great week last week, but this Denver D is firing and fiery. Losing to the Vikings last week also has to motivate the Broncos, as their offence literally threw it away. The Bills have to play in 4 days against the Cowboys, so they might not be fully focused on this one. Wade & Ryan both have the Broncos to cover, although Wade thinks that they will win.

Giants vs -6.5 Bears

6.5 points for the Bears? That’s almost a touchdown! Mitch Trubisky hasn’t barely thrown a touchdown. More people throw out their backs yelling at Trubisky than he actually accomplishes. The Giants are looking for the return of some talented receivers, which should make this game even more interesting. If Danny Dimes can flush out Shephard, Tate or Engram, the Bears could struggle to contain them. The Bears O-line also needs to step up. While MT is to blame for his myopic QB vision, the O barely gives him any time to throw. They need to pocket focus so he can get his steps if they are ever going to commit long term to him. Both guys have the Giants to cover, although Ryan goes with a win.

Miami vs -10.5 Cleveland

10.5 is some screw you points. That’s expecting the Browns to level an epic beatdown on the porpoises this Sunday. The whole Myles Garrett thing shook the team, but it wasn’t the team. It was one guy. One guy on a team that is struggling to find their rhythm. Will they rebound with aggression or continue to implode. This is the game that marks their maturity. Boy guys think they will rebound and put on a Miami beatdown that hasn’t been seen since the neon 80s’. Odell should be ringing bells and the Browns D should be stealing some Fitz-Magic. Dolphins win big.
