🏈 NFL International Games 2025: Predictions

May 5, 2025 by nflinlondon

The 2025 NFL season is going global like never before. With seven international games scheduled across five countries—Brazil, Germany, Spain, Ireland, and the United Kingdom—the league is deepening its international roots and giving fans around the world a front-row seat to America’s biggest sport.

While we know the home teams and locations, the visiting teams haven’t been officially announced yet. That hasn’t stopped football analysts Ryan and Wade from making bold predictions about who we might see in each matchup. Below is a breakdown of every confirmed game, including the pundits’ takes and key player storylines updated for the 2025 offseason.

đŸ‡§đŸ‡· SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil – LA Chargers (Home)

  • Venue: Neo QuĂmica Arena (Corinthians Arena)
  • Ryan’s pick: Washington Commanders
  • Wade’s pick: Houston Texans

This will be the NFL’s first-ever regular-season game in South America. Ryan predicts the Commanders will travel south, featuring second-year QB Jayden Daniels—an exciting face-off against Justin Herbert. Wade believes it’ll be the Houston Texans, led by C.J. Stroud, whose breakout 2023 season continues to fuel their rise as contenders.

đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș Berlin, Germany – Indianapolis Colts (Home)

  • Venue: Olympiastadion Berlin
  • Ryan’s pick: Las Vegas Raiders
  • Wade’s pick: Arizona Cardinals

Germany gets a new host city in Berlin, with the Colts bringing second-year QB Anthony Richardson to Europe. Ryan predicts a matchup with the Raiders, now starting Geno Smith after a surprising move from Seattle. Wade sees the Cardinals, featuring a healthy and retooled Kyler Murray, coming in as opponents.

đŸ‡Ș🇾 Madrid, Spain – Miami Dolphins (Home)

  • Venue: Santiago BernabĂ©u Stadium
  • Ryan’s pick: New Orleans Saints
  • Wade’s pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In the NFL’s first game in Spain, Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins bring speed and style. Ryan imagines them facing the Saints, while Wade forecasts an in-state rivalry with the Buccaneers, anchored by Baker Mayfield and standout WR Mike Evans.

🇼đŸ‡Ș Dublin, Ireland – Pittsburgh Steelers (Home)

  • Venue: Croke Park
  • Ryan’s pick: Green Bay Packers
  • Wade’s pick: Seattle Seahawks

Ireland hosts its first-ever NFL game, with Pittsburgh’s nod to Ireland. But for this analysis, we’ll focus on the team left behind: Ryan expects the Packers led by Jordan Love, while Wade still associates the Seahawks with their rugged, competitive style—with Sam Arnold looking for something to prove.

🇬🇧 London, UK – Jacksonville Jaguars (Home)

  • Venue: Wembley Stadium
  • Ryan’s pick: Kansas City Chiefs
  • Wade’s pick: Tennessee Titans

London’s most frequent hosts are back. Ryan wants to see the Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, bring a Super Bowl-level clash to Wembley. Wade sees a divisional matchup with the Titans, who just signed Cam Ward as the number one pick.

🇬🇧 London, UK – Cleveland Browns (Home)

  • Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Ryan’s pick: San Francisco 49ers
  • Wade’s pick: Detroit Lions

Ryan predicts a defensive showdown against the 49ers, still strong with Brock Purdy and a potent run game. Wade prefers the Lions, now one of the league’s most exciting teams, with Jared Goff under center and Amon-Ra St. Brown leading a surging offense.

🇬🇧 London, UK – New York Jets (Home)

  • Venue: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Ryan’s pick: Denver Broncos
  • Wade’s pick: Dallas Cowboys

The Jets, with Justin Fields at the helm are returning for the second year in a row. Ryan picks the Broncos, possibly starting rookie Bo Nix, for a fresh QB face-off. Wade goes bigger: the Dallas Cowboys, still starring Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons, would turn this into one of the most-watched international games ever.

📆 When Will the NFL International Schedule Be Announced?

The full 2025 NFL schedule—including dates for all international games—is expected to be released in mid-May. Once it drops, tickets will sell fast, especially for first-time host cities like Madrid, São Paulo, and Dublin.

🌎 Final Thoughts: NFL’s Global Push Is Just Beginning

From Mahomes to Cam Ward, Stroud to Tua, the 2025 NFL International Series is set to deliver elite talent, historic venues, and global reach. Ryan and Wade’s predictions offer two compelling perspectives: one focused on marquee matchups, the other on rivalries and rising stars.

Whether you’re rooting for your team from the U.S. or attending games across the globe, this year’s international series promises unforgettable football.

Stay tuned for the official matchups, and be ready to grab your tickets when the schedule drops.

2021 Season Schedule

May 14, 2021 by nflinlondon

The official NFL 2021 season Schedule is out, and boy did we guess wrong!
The NFL tickled us with surprise for this year, and what a pleasant surprise it is.

Wade & Ryan talk all about it in our 2021 Season Schedule Podcast.

Using the clues and hints dropped by the NFL, NFLUK and other rambling journos-we had anticipated a late October matchup with the Falcons and AFC opponent.
With the addition of the Jags to the mix, we then thought an NFC opponent would be plucked from the schedule to fill the role.
Given that the NFLUK likes to schedule games on consecutive weekends, we thus concluded the Patriots and Cardinals would be the visiting team at the end of October.
Nope and nope.

So, now we know the following NFL games

Sunday October 10, 2021-2:30pm GMT

NY Jets vs Atlanta Falcons

Sunday October 17th, 2021-2:30pm GMT

Miami Dolphins vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Some great games that we are highly looking forward to.

Among some of the other things the guys discuss in this episode includes.

London Games

When do tickets go on sale? How much are they? Do I need a vaccine?
We don’t know anything about this yet, but will let you know when we do.
Things are looking good Covid-wise for the 2021 London games, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
The NFL must be dealing with a logistical nightmare of moving parts, and a myriad of questions.
With a new variant, travel opening up, and vaccination target rates being reached, we are hopeful that everything will go off swimmingly.
Let’s just get through the summer.

Week 1 Games

What are the top games everyone is looking forward to on week 1?
Browns vs Chiefs? Dolphins vs Patriots? Bears vs Rams?
There are loads of tough contests out there to kick off the season, and no one likes to do it with a W.
The ‘odds’ are out for week 1 games, and Ryan wants to make some bets!

Falc-Off

Julio Jones doesn’t seem happy. He’s left off the Atlanta 2021 hype package, and he’s getting less love each year.
Will the Falcons double down on Pitts, or try to make everyone happy?
Falcons need a winning season for any sense of pride.

Sad Pack

Aaron Rodgers wants to break up with Green Bay because they aren’t nice to him. We don’t know what he wants exactly, but he is totally putting the big ‘D’ in the drama here.
After some great NFC dominance the future of the Packers playoff runs could be in jeopardy. (get it?)
Fortunately the Packers brought in the double B in Blake Bortles, who has been spending his free time listening to his name on ‘The Good Place’ reruns.
Green Bay has buckets of talent and primed to actually contend for the title if they are able to make a few deft moves, as well as prime up the locker room motivation.
Thus far, they seem like a family on edge.

Timma!

Tim Tebow is back, and he’s ready to convert! To tight end.
The NFL free agency world went loopy this week at the announcement that Tim Tebow would be returning to the NFL.
Why not Kaep? Why this washed up white boy?
Have some ‘faith’ in Urban Meyer.
Tebow took the 90th and final roster spot to return to a state where he is held as a football ‘God.’
Tebow might jump on a few surprise snaps, but will find himself riding the pines most of this season.
Considering the jump in lumber prices, he might have the most expensive seat in the house.

Have a laugh and a listen to the podcast.

2020 NFL Schedule

May 12, 2020 by nflinlondon

The NFL season is ready to go? It seems so according to the NFL who have bravely pushed through with a regular season schedule released this week full of exciting contests. Corona virus is going to have the final day in how all this is going to play out, but at least they have tried.

International games are scuppered, & there’s doubt that fans will be able to attend the first half of the season. Alcohol also looks to be banned as frequent urination embraces the virus quite easily. Who wants to go to a game with no beer anyway.

Key Games

Week 1-Bucs vs Saints

Brady vs Brees in an epic NFC South showdown. This game will be Corona spotlight as we blow into this new dilemma season. These guys are chasing records, so this will be a blast off to the most interesting NFL adventure in history.

Week 3-Chiefs vs Ravens

It’s a massive AFC battle as the two most magical QBs in the league shoot it out to see who take as an early season loss. One of these teams will not have a perfect season & that’s what makes it a great game.

Week 4-Patriots vs Chiefs

The Chiefs will have just played the Ravens the week before so this will be a slug fest for both teams. Mahomes will look to solidify his dominance over the league with a demonstrative hometown performance.

Week 6-Bucs vs Packers

Brady vs Rodgers (?) if they’re both healthy in this new league, but this will be a new NFL dynamic. Who will really GOAT out in this contest, & how will this affect the NFC? Week 6 is always a breakpoint in a team’s retrospect as they gauge their 5 game record, & look to where they can be by week 10. This game will have huge implications.

We will be looking at safe distancing NFL parties for 2020, but let’s think of ways we can watch this season together.

Listen to our podcast for all the great game predictions.

Wade’s Draft

April 23, 2020 by nflinlondon

Lockdown, shock down, WTF is going to happen to this season? Thankfully the NFL Draft is here to save us with entertainment, sports & hope.

As an NFL fan I have been blissfully unaware of many of the top NCAA prospects heading into this draft. Sure, I know some of the top 30, but after that it’s as hazy as what day it is.

Heading into this draft though, it looks like Joe ‘Exotic’ Tiger King is off to Cincy in the easiest call of the night.

Chase Young is the best player here, so the Redskins will snap him up to lead their pressure corp.

Detroit is 3rd, but I think Miami might be nervous about their choice & could make a desperate move to get their man…Justin Herbert.

NY Giants hit 4th, & need the best OT to protect their QB & Saquon’s pathways. Jeff Okuduh is their pick.

Detroit uses their Miami trade to take their CB pick Jeff Okuduh from Ohio State& a further round pick for good measure.

LA Chargers test Tyrod by taking Tua, & signalling their change to a running QB. Is he worth the risk? Time will tell.

Who do you have? Are you watching the draft? Follow us & stay in touch. Stay safe & sane.
