London-Sunday

October 12, 2019 by nflinlondon

Are you one of the lucky few that will be watching the epic, yet soggy match-up between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at Tottenham?
Have fun!
It looks to be a great game, and you will have a great time.
Don’t forget-the game starts at 2:30pm GMT so make sure you pace yourself if you’re planning on having a fun one.
After all, Sunday Funday is in full effect-so we have some tips and advice to make your Sunday even better.

The Game

Carolina Panthers face Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 14:30 GMT at London’s White Hart Lane (Tottenham) stadium in Tottenham north London.
There is no football (soccer) on-so you should have a straight and easy journey to the stadium.
Take the Victoria Line (light blue) or the Overground (orange) lines for direct access to the stadium.
Make sure you check your journey status before you go-as Sunday’s are not fundays when it comes to UK travel.
Alternatively-take a bus. There are loads of direct ones to the stadium as well.
The forecast calls for rain, but you should be safe and dry in this brand-spanking new stadium.
There aren’t a lot of places to tailgate before hand in Tottenham, so find a good place to hunker down before you head up there.
Beers at the game are £6-£7-so save up your sheckles if you plan on getting wasted.
But don’t get wasted at the game-you will lose things and piss off everyone around you.
The game will finish around 5:45pm-and it will take you a while to get out of the stadium.
Sometimes pre-ordering an Uber as the game is getting out, and having them meet you on a side street is a smart option.

Sunday Roast

The Sunday roast is a storied British tradition of gastronomy.
Wealthy land-owners would feed their workers, staff and minions on Sundays as thanks for a full working week, so it became a staple of good food, company and booze.
Since the game starts at 2:30-why not grab one beforehand?
Many Sunday roast places can be hit or miss.
Big pub chains will rollout a sloppy mess of ‘guess the meat’, so you might want to opt for one of the smaller pubs, where the focus is on quality.
Think globally-but shop locally for the best options.
Here are some of the ones we would recommend.

Princess Alexandra-Crouch End
A great British boozer closely located to stadium. Grab the W3 directly there, and you’re good to go.
They will be serving roasts after the game if they still have some.
https://princessalexandran8.co.uk

The Woodman-Highgate
A truly lovely pub in one of the poshest areas of London. Luckily this reasonably priced roast will have you doubled over with belly-love. It is a smashing roast and they have loads of great beers on tap as well.
https://www.the-woodman.com

The Pig and Butcher-Islington
Wow! This place will blow your mind with the meats on offer. Grab a traditional beef or savour a pork or lamb roast as well. Veggie roasts for your veggie friends…if you have any.
https://thepigandbutcher.co.uk

Blacklock-Soho
Head to the basement for meat, meat, and more meat. This place is sear-iously good when it comes to grilling animals. Go with a big appetite.
http://theblacklock.com

After the Game

Lucky for you, the game ends early. This means you can enjoy both the 6pm and 9:30 pm games after the Tottenham match.
Sadly-the NFL is only catching on with many pubs-so they usually get it wrong when it comes to showing the games.
They will either forget to put it on, put it on without sound, or kick you out before the game ends. (pubs close early).

Here are a few places that will show the game a bit later.

Belushi’s Hammersmith
Way out west in Hammer-land, this refurbished pub has 22 screens of NFL action for you to enjoy.
It’s open until 1am so you can push it until the last trains from the nearby tube stations.
There is also a hostel upstairs, which will explain the many jammie-panted youth you might see walking around the pub.
https://www.belushis.com/bars/london/hammersmith

Bodean’s Covent Garden/ Soho/ Old Street
This Canadian BBQ joint is a great place to catch the game while getting the meat sweats.
They will have the Sky game on, but it might not have sound.
Bodean’s usually closes at 10:30 on a Sunday, so you won’t be able to watch the late games.
https://bodeansbbq.com

Meathouse-Kings Cross
This meat joint has loads of steaks, burgers and wings with an impressive menu.
There are a few TVs in the bar and restaurant, but you might have to remind them to switch it over.
http://www.meathouselondon.co.uk

Princess Alexandra
Join us here after the game. Loads of TVs, plenty of space, great food-and close to central London via tube or night bus.
https://princessalexandran8.co.uk

Canadian Thanksgiving
It’s also Canadian Thanksgiving on Sunday. Hooray for holidays. Much lamer than the American one, it involves having to say sorry to 17 people in your life. Try it out. Bodean’s and the Maple Leaf will be having turkey dinners as well as NFL action.

Sunday Tips

We have compiled a list of top tips for you on Sunday as well. Hopefully these can help you out.

  • Extinction Revolution-The earth is dying! So avoid Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus unless you want to get caught in a wave of protests. These areas are kind of sketchy at night anyway-so it’s no big loss.
  • Late London-it isn’t a late town-see our previous article on things to do when the sun goes down.
  • Sports-It’s a sport free Sunday which is a blue moon rarity. There will be more NFL on that you think!
  • Sports Bars-We don’t really have them, & they are nothing like North America. They will also close early so have your late plans prepared.
  • Travel-the tube will close around midnight depending on which area of London you are in. Know your route home and have Uber ready if you want to really cane it.
  • Burgers, Wings, Pizza-Yes, it doesn’t taste like home. No, don’t say anything about it. If you came here for North American food-try Indian, Thai or fish and chips to spice it up.
  • Safety-London is a safe area, but at night touristy areas get very pick-pockety. Watch your phones. Also watch dodgy security guys ushering you into basements with trafficked women and £300 bottles of prosecco. Stay Safe.

If you need any info from our team, feel free to reach out! See you Sunday.

Week 6 Predictions

October 11, 2019 by nflinlondon

Looking for some betting tips for Week 6 in the NFL?
Luckily the big brains at our friends US-Odds have compiled their list of games to bet on this weekend to make your life easier.

Find all their tips and more here:
www.us-odds.com

In this article, we’ll provide you with our top football betting picks and advice for the Week 6 slate of Sunday games. This week, we’ll have predictions on the New Orleans Saints at Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams matchups. We study the odds, betting lines, teams, and players to give you our recommended betting picks to beat the New Jersey sportsbooks.

New Orleans Saints at Jacksonville Jaguars (-1) – O/U: 44
Sunday, October 13, 2019 – 1:00 p.m. EST
Betting Pick: Jaguars (ML: -130)

We’ve got a matchup of two unfamiliar opponents as the New Orleans Saints hit the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Saints have been impressive since Drew Brees went down with an injury, winning three straight games to improve to 4-1. However, one of our top betting picks will be the Jaguars to win outright, instead of covering the one-point spread. Let’s dive into the facts to see why we’re heading in this direction.

Betting Lines Analysis: Saints at Jaguars

This line actually opened as a pick-em’ but the Jaguars have since moved to -1. It’s a nice case of reverse-line movement as Jacksonville’s spread grew and a little more than two-thirds of public bets are on New Orleans – 63 percent of all money wagered, though, is on Jacksonville.

The 44-point total interesting as well, considering there are 56 percent of public bets and an overwhelming 85 percent of all money wagered is on the total going under. Given those figures, we should probably expect a low-scoring game on Sunday.

Saints Betting Form

QB Teddy Bridgewater turned in one of his best games as a pro last week, throwing for 314 yards and four touchdowns in a win against the Buccaneers. However, this week’s matchup comes against a tough Jaguars’ defense that’ll be returning their top cornerback to the lineup. They’ll need to rely on the running game a lot more, which should be doable, considering the Jags are allowing the eighth-most rushing yards per game (136.6) – this could mean good things for Alvin Kamara and even Latavius Murray if the defense doesn’t make the necessary adjustments.

The Saints’ defense has gone 31 straight games without allowing a 100-yard rusher. So it goes without saying that this matchup against the Jags will be an outstanding one to watch. Jags RB Leonard Fournette has rushed for 100 yards in each of the last two games after a slow start to the season and leads the NFL in yards after contact.

Jaguars Betting Form

Jacksonville’s offense has been a pleasant surprise so far this season. QB Gardener Minshew has nine touchdowns and only one interception, which came in his first career appearance in Week 1 after taking over for Nick Foles. We mentioned the success that Fournette had over the last two weeks and that streak of Saints’ success against the run could certainly come to an end. Beating the Saints works when you’re physical with them, and this is certainly a team that is capable of that.

The return of CB Jalen Ramsey to the Jaguars’ defense comes at a great time with Saints WR Michael Thomas coming to town. We should expect the Jags to stack the box and make Bridgewater beat them with deeper throws – not a consistent recipe for success with Teddy B throughout his career. Not to mention, bringing a lot of pressure towards Bridgewater has worked for opposing defenses in the past.

Betting Pick: Jaguars (ML: -130)

Sometimes you just look at a spread and wonder why it’s not making sense. After all, the Saints have defeated three quality (or near-quality) opponents in a row and the Jaguars really don’t have an identity at this point. The oddsmakers are trying to tell us that Jacksonville will regain that powerful sense of pounding the ball and playing solid defense on Sunday. We’re listening, and taking the Jags to win outright as opposed to taking the one-point spread – it doesn’t cost much more by doing so.

Eagles vs Vikings

Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota Vikings (-3) – O/U: 44
Sunday, October 13, 2019 – 1:00 p.m. EST
Betting Pick: Vikings (-3)

The Philadelphia Eagles return to the scene of their only Super Bowl victory for the first time to take on the team that occupies U.S. Bank Stadium, the Minnesota Vikings. Not only did the Eagles win the title there, but they beat the Vikings in the NFC Championship Game to get there. Enough time has passed that we don’t need to play the revenge game, yet one of our top betting picks for the Vikings to cover the three-point spread. Let’s dive into the analysis to see why we’re heading in that direction.

Betting Lines Analysis: Eagles at Vikings

Public bettors are in favor of the Eagles, with 62 percent of the money heading their way. We’re more than happy to go against the public in this game, considering the Vikings are the home team and have had plenty of success under their own roof. Not to mention, they’ll only need to win this game by slightly more than a field goal.

In addition, both the public and sharp money are in favor of the total going over as about 70 percent of each side are going in that direction.

Eagles Betting Form

QB Carson Wentz will have a tough one on his hands. Playing at U.S. Bank Stadium has been incredibly difficult for opposing QBs, as only two (TWO!!!) of them have thrown for more than 300 yards and none of them have thrown more than two touchdowns in a regular-season game.

The Eagles sport the top run-defense in the NFL through five weeks, allowing 63 yards per game – they are also allowing the second-fewest yards per carry (3.2). Philly will need more of that same stinginess since Vikings RB Dalvin Cook has the second-most rushing yards (542) in the NFL with an average of 5.9 yards per carry – backup RB Alexander Mattison has 189 yards on the ground with an average of 5.6 yards per carry. It’s certainly a matchup they’ll need to win, considering their secondary has been getting abused with regularity.

Vikings Betting Form

If that Vikings’ running game can’t get off the ground, that’ll provide a good opportunity for QB Kirk Cousins to move the ball through the air. The Eagles are allowing the sixth-most passing yards per game (271.2) with more than a few injuries to their players in the secondary – nearly all the guys that will be playing even have some type of ailment. That ranking was improved a bit from playing the Jets last week and they even recorded 10 sacks in the process. Don’t expect that to happen again this week.

The Vikings’ defense is pretty damn good, as we all know. To put exact numbers on it, they have allowed the fourth-fewest total yards per game (292.4), sixth-fewest passing yards per game (204.2) and ninth-fewest total yards per game (88.2). We mentioned those numbers in the Eagles’ section about opposing QBs at U.S. Bank Stadium, and that couldn’t be a better indicator of how well the Vikings play at home.

Betting Pick: Vikings (-3)

The Vikings are 18-2-1 ATS against non-division teams at home under head coach Mike Zimmer. Honestly, we don’t even think this one will be close. Minnesota has a little something extra when playing at home and the passing game should flourish big time against a banged-up Philly secondary.

49ers vs Rams

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-3.5) – O/U: 50.5
Sunday, October 13, 2019 – 4:05 p.m. EST
Betting Pick: Rams (-3.5 —> buy to -2.5)

A big NFC West battle goes down in Week 6 as the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers hit the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams. The whole world just saw the 49ers dismantle Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns on national TV last week, but our top betting pick of the week is for the Rams to cover a 2.5-point spread against the 49ers – that means you’ll have to buy an extra point just to make this a more favorable number. Let’s dive into the facts to see what we’re talking about.

Betting Lines Analysis: 49ers at Rams

It’s interesting that the public is backing the Rams like we are, with 62 percent of those bets going in that direction – 57 percent of all money wagered is on them too. Typically, the winning team on Monday Night Football will have a lot of public backing, but it appears like they have a lot of the same thoughts that we do.

As for the total, which increased from 48.5 to 50.5, the public and sharps are both putting plenty of money on the over. This is interesting, considering the 49ers’ defense has been spectacular, and it also lends some optimism to the thought that we might even see some defensive/special teams’ touchdowns in this game.

49ers Betting Form

The 49ers have some serious injury woes that’ll lead to their first loss of the season. Two offensive linemen, Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchy, and FB Kyle Juszczyk will all miss this game; these injuries are incredibly crucial to San Francisco’s running attack, which actually leads the NFL with 200 yards per game. Now, the Niners will have a sixth-round rookie starting at left tackle and a right tackle that was playing in the Alliance of American Football. Without their-usually dominant blockers, the 49ers’ offense is going to look a lot different – and that’s not a good thing.

This will put more responsibility on the shoulders of QB Jimmy Garoppolo, and we can make the argument that he’s not worth the hype since the torn ACL he suffered last season. The 49ers’ running game has been making things a lot easier for him, albeit against weaker defenses. Since the Rams have gotten torn to shreds in each of the last two weeks, we’d expect them to come out with an inspiring performance and that right all the wrongs.

Only the New England Patriots allowed fewer total yards per game than the 49ers heading into Week 6. However, we need to understand that they haven’t played a prolific offense like the Rams yet this season. LA and its boy-wonder head coach had three extra days to prepare for Sunday while San Fran had a day less. Expect this unit to take a HUGE step back this time around.

Rams Betting Form

The Rams have some injuries of their own, but they did have an extra three days of rest to prepare for this game. RB Todd Gurley, WR Brandin Cooks and CB Aqib Talib all have some sort of ailment that either limited or kept them out of practice this week – although, signs are encouraging that they’ll play.

Although the Rams have lost each of their last games, QB Jared Goff has thrown for a grand total of 912 yards. If it weren’t for a missed field goal against Seattle, LA would be 1-1 over that stretch and did have a chance to come back against Tampa Bay in Week 4.

A big factor in taking the Rams is the difference in days of preparation between the teams. Not only did those ailing players get more time to rest, but head coach Sean McVay and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips had a few extra days in their respective mad-genius labs. This factor cannot be understated – it’s a real thing.

We talked about the total being unusually-high for this game, and we really think that has a lot to do with the Rams’ defense getting in on the scoring. DT Aaron Donald should be able to cause some havoc up the middle while the DEs bring the heat from the outside against these inexperienced tackles. Creating turnovers is mostly due to getting pressure on the QB, and this is the perfect opportunity to do so, against a team playing on a short week.

Betting Pick: Rams (-3.5 —> buy to -2.5)

After writing about the two teams, it seems unnecessary to buy the extra point for the Rams but we’ll do it anyways – better safe than sorry. The 49ers will probably re-work their offense to fit the personnel better at some point, but doing it on a short week is a tough task for even a great head coach like Kyle Shanahan. The preparation factor is a major selling point here and we’re hopping all over the Rams because of it.

London-This Weekend

October 10, 2019 by nflinlondon

Looking to hit the town this weekend before the big Tottenham game between the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
We got you covered with some fun stuff to do-whether you’re visiting from the US, Europe or even the UK.
Comedy, music, quizzes, walks or just getting hammered at a pub then stumbling to the next.
Mostly the drunk pub stumbling through.

Rick and Morty Quiz
Love the Adultswim series Rick & Morty? Then come by an interactive video quiz in Crouch End all about this hilarious series. Comedian Wade McElwain hosts this 90 minute pub quiz, where teams vie for a £50 bar tab, a £25 bar tab, plus prizes for best costumes.
It’s £10 a team, so make sure you get in touch to sign up now.
The new series starts in November!
How much do you know?

www.moorsbar.com

90s Boozy Skating Party
Club De Fromage is a notorious UK pop club night that has hit some of the biggest cities and festivals. They are hosting a totally funky 90s-00s disco on ice party with booze, food, games, and great songs from the past.
Bring your own skates or rent some of the shared ones. They’re cleaner than riding the tube.
It starts at 8:30-so expect a late night Saturday of fun.

www.alexandrapalace.com/whats-on/club-de-fromage-on-ice-90s-vs-00s-5th-birthday-party/

NCAA Football
You will be hard pressed to find college football playing in London. Football might be off for the weekend, and morning rugby is blown out by a typhoon, but that doesn’t mean bars are keen on NCAA.
There are a few small bars like Passyunk, Bodean’s and Belushi’s London Bridge, so call ahead to make a reservation as they might be packed and not have sound on some games.
We also don’t have all the games in the UK, so don’t freak out on staff if they can’t find it.
You can only really watch it on BTSport ESPN, so you kind of get what they give you, but it is generally the most popular game.
This week it SHOULD be Texas vs Oklahoma, and Texas A&M vs Alabama.
The Princess Alexandra in Crouch End will be showing it on multiple TVs.

Canadian Thanksgiving
No, it’s not a joke.
Canada actually has a Thanksgiving too. We abused our natives WAY before the Americans did.
While not a huge festival here, it’s still a chance to get out and have some turkey, pumpkin pie and all the fixings.
Best place to see it would be the Maple Leaf in Covent Garden.
They show a lot of NFL too, so you can get in there early and get a big table.
It will get very busy so get there asap.
Expect many ‘I’m sorries’ from the polite Canuckleheads, as they jostle to the bar for a Sleeman’s.
Good times.

Pub Crawl

It’s London, get pissed & stumble from pub to pub meeting strangers, laughing and struggling to find your way home. It’s what the city was built on.
Give in, you know you want to. Just a sip.
There are loads of areas to get wasted in the capital, so it depends on where you are situated.

Farringdon
Farringdon is nice on a Saturday afternoon, because it’s generally dead, and there are loads of great pubs that get abused on Friday nights when toiled workers slug it back and coke up the toilets.
The Jerusalem Tavern is a great one to start at because it’s tiny. Feel like a giant before you fall!

www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk/london-pub/

Shoreditch
Sha-pa-town has been gentrified to balls, so expect to pay £7 for a pint you never heard of and tastes like slugs and feet. After 2, they taste good-but don’t expect to be sitting long if you’re going to the game on Sunday.
Loads of bars there. Dive into a nice side street off Commercial and just start bopping.
Roadtrip Bar on the corner is a local dive hole that’s open late. That’s what she said.
It’s open until 3am, and shows NFL until 1am on Sundays.
The kitchen is smaller than a porta-loo, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Great bar, amazing DJs, friendly staff and colourful guests.

roadtripbar.com

Acton
Acton has had a sullied reputation of shame. In many cases deserved.
But the joint has been cleaning up since the poor immigrants have been pushed out, and the condo folks have helped bring in civilisation. Bless us all.
There are loads of great pubs, and the Circus pub is a delight for entertainment.
Start out with a glass of wine at Vindinista, then wander into the pubs and high street where you can grab some great kebabs, and some of the finest Polish food and grocery stores you can savour.
Say hi to Stacey and Vindinista, he’ll take care of you.

https://vindinista.com

There’s also a really cool mini golf course in Acton park that you can drink on for 15 holes.
Head up the road from there and hit the town West.
You’re also close to Shepherd’s Bush and Westfield if it sucks.

www.puttinthepark.com/courses/acton-park

Enjoy the city.
Generally:

  • Avoid Leicester Square if you like your sanity, phone, safe space.
  • Look both ways-you don’t have diplomatic immunity
  • Pub chain food is what it is. If a burger is £3 it might not be beef
  • Unlicensed taxis are bad. Just don’t.
  • Tip if they serve you or are nice in general
  • Friday nights after work are chaos. If you plan on imbibing then, good luck. Otherwise wait til after 8
  • It’s not America. Be prepared to share a table, your personal space and expectations of wait staff potential. If your table has a number on it-walk to the bar.
  • Watch live arts-there is loads of comedy, music, theatre and interactive cool stuff in London, enjoy yourself and help independent artists!

Week 5 TDs

October 8, 2019 by nflinlondon

What a week in the NFL!
Holy cow there were a lot of touchdowns across the League this week.
There were some teams who managed to make it look easy, and others who seemed to slip further down the slump.

LA Rams vs Seahawks
A total of 59 points dumped in this game, including Jared Goff who was dropped a lot. Russell Wilson found magic to get the win!

Panthers vs Jaguars
Is there anything that Christian Mccaffrey can’t do? Seriously. Because the Panthers seem to beat him down on every play. Don’t get injured! 51 pts scored in this beating.

Falcons vs Texans
Deshaun Watson is tearing up the league, and other teams. Wowza, he really lit up Matt Ryan and the Falcons in a Sunday Crumbday. 85 points in this bloodbath that will have Atlanta reaching for their security blanket.

Bears vs Raiders
No, you shut up. Tough game to watch, especially for people in London.

Packers vs Cowboys
Yee-ha! What a rodeo for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, who rolled right over the stinky Cowboys. Get paid Dak!

See you this Sunday.

London-Late

October 6, 2019 by nflinlondon

Welcome to London! The city that sleeps…a lot.
Unlike other global centres of culture, London is a city that shuts down early.
Many local councils are more concerned with noise than fun, so as a consequence many late night activities have been hurled to the hounds.
If you are looking to find late activity-you will need to be in the know.
Luckily, we are in the know.

If you’re looking to watch late night NFL with sound, you are going to be SOL in most cases.
While some Casino’s in central London might show them, they will be packed with drunks and pickpockets, and you will probably not get any sound.
There are a few places however that might fit the bill.

Palm Beach Casino
A truly classy casino in central London with a very wicked sports bar.
The casino is open 24 hours, so you can watch all of the NFL games here on multiple screens.
Savour some great cocktails from talented mixologists, or just drink beer.
Right in the heart of London, so you can get back to your hotel with ease.
www.thepalmbeach.co.uk

Aspers Casino-Stratford
Asper’s casino is quite a huge casino located in Stratford, so it works if you’re staying in that area of the city. A relatively new casino, their sports offering isn’t up to speed yet-so you might struggle to see the game. If you’re dressed in NFL gear-you might also get stopped at the door, so make sure you are well behaved. Open 24hrs.
www.aspersstratford.co.uk

Roadtrip-Shoreditch
Looking for some late night NFL watching in Shoreditch? Roadtrip is a place to go, as it is right near Old Street station and all of Shoreditch. They show NFL on Sundays, and because they close at 1am-you should be able to watch the full Packers v Cowboys game
The kitchen is open, but given that most meals are either fried or microwaved, you might want to pop across the road to the kebab shop.
roadtripbar.com

Bar Italia Soho
This historic London venue is a great place to unwind, grab some food and drink and soak up the history of Soho. It is usually open until 5am on a Sunday, and the kitchen is full of great options to soak up your beer ravaged belly.
Soho can be quite sketchy at night, especially around the ATMs-so have a friend spot you if you head out single.
baritaliasoho.co.uk

Duck and Waffle
Mmmm, who’s hungry for food and a heck of a view? Duck and Waffle near Liverpool street station is 40 floors up, and serves food 24 hours a day. You might want to make a reservation if there’s a bunch of you-but on a Sunday you should be set for a great feast. Enjoy the soaring views of London as the sun rises and all those losers have to go to work, while you get to nurse a hangover.
duckandwaffle.com

Aces and Eights
Love a bit of Rock n’ Roll? Aces and Eights in Tufnell Park is a funky bar that specialises in comedy, music and performance. Luckily, they are also open until 1am on a Sunday.
The bar is also located fairly close to the stadium, so if you grab a taxi after the game, you can enjoy at least 4 hours of solid boozing.
www.acesandeightssaloonbar.com

Dalston Superstore
A hip and cool bar in the hippest area of London-Dalston. This boozer is open until 2:30am on Sundays, and has loads of great cocktails and live entertainment. Sunday’s offer female DJs and is a trans night, so you can mix and mingle with a progressive London Sunday.
/dalstonsuperstore.com

Slim Jim’s Liquorstore
Do you like American rock’n’roll? Then you should hit Slim Jim’s after the game. This boozer between Highbury and Islington & Angel is notoriously skinny as a bar, but goes back deep. (Insert rock n roll cliche here). It’s open until 1am on Sundays-and you can get there directly from the stadium via the Victoria tube line.
slimjimsliquorstore.com

Princess Alexandra
That’s the party we’re throwing. Head to Crouch End from the stadium by taxi, and you’re there in under 15 minutes. 30 minutes by bus. We have a late license, so we will be open until 4am.
Late buses can get you back to central London.
