nfl in london

RIP

Well that didn’t take long.

The AAF is officially ‘suspended’ which is legal speak for ‘we need to talk to our creditors’.

Despite posting some top ratings for the period, and being initially allowed to show their games on the NFL Network, it collapsed under itself.

Horror stories are starting to emerge from players about the state of pay, play and what was ok.
But don’t forget, it was its first year-so you kind of have to take those things as given.

It does provide the XFL with ample opportunity to look at what went wrong, (as well as buy some of their assets.)
The XFL recently also raised almost $300 million from WWE stock to help fund the league as well.

What will happen next to players and coaches from the AAF?
Well some like Steve Spurrier could be back in the show in no time.
